My husband had an out-patient procedure done a few weeks ago and was prescribed vicodin to help manage the following pain. He had a very strong reaction to it immediately, with almost seizure like shaking, nausea and vomiting. We later found his sister had the same symptoms and so did an office co-worker. So, these reactions to vicodin (including the usual constipation and potential addiction) may be pretty common and not worth the risk. It would be better to ask the doctor for an alternate medication for pain.

Helps with pain, and even if you don't have pain it makes you feel good. It gives a sense of optimism and joy, as well as relaxation. Of course these are very addictive, I wouldn't recommend taking them for more than a few days straight at a time unless you are prescribed them for pain. I'd give them a 4/5. Not a 5/5 only because of how easy it is to become addicted.

Quite a good drug but it's very easy to get hooked and once you've taken them for awhile the detox SUCKS. 4 days of shit.

Can be very addictive, but I will give it a 3 because if a doctor prescribes it and a person is in pain it can help.

I used to do Vics but I don't recommend them. Your better off staying away from pills. I know a lot of people who got hooked to them and they are nothing to fuck with. A lot of drugs aren't. But pills just aren't a good idea in my opinion. Fuck pills, if I want to take a drug that relaxes me, I'd just smoke weed. Then I'd relax and laugh a lot. Pills just make you tired and drowzy and dull your mind. I'm not really into drugs like that. P.S I rated them ok, cuz they made me feel decent when I did them, but I don't really consider them ok to do. If you do, I'm not knocking ya. Just my opinion.

Should be taken according to weight and tolerance level. Also should be taken with food to help- avoid upset stomach. Taken as perscribed will help pain and make you tired. Take one more than perscribed and you will feel a calming, tranquil effect and as long as you stay active, actually helps you stay awake. Sitting and watching TV will make you nob briefly, but then you'll be wide awake again. Most of this drug is Tylenol. You can tell the amount of Opiate to Tylenol by the number perscribed. 5/500 = 5mg of the opiate, 500mg of Tylenol, so doing 2 of these will give you 1000mg of tylenol. Then there is the 7.5/750s and 10/660's. If you can, ask for the 10/660s, 1.5 or 2 of these are great if you're over 250# Only take one of you are under 200#. Withdrawl from these is nothing more than one or two days of extreme tiredness, after that things are OK (for me at least).

Reality, for those who can't handle drugs! :-)

I'm naturally tolerant, it doesn't do anything.

the best cure for depression i've found. started taking it for back pain, but now i pop a vike whenever i want to feel calm and happy. it's far better than xanax for anxiety. nothing bothers me. it's just a really nice sedated feeling. only side effect that's bothersome: increased appetite. makes me itchy, too, but i can handle it.
