He is the primary leader of this paramilitary group engaged in a violent campaign to establish a theocratic government in Uganda purportedly based on the Bible and the Ten Commandments. The LRA slides back and forth over the border with Sudan and also has operated in the Congo. Many thousands have died in massacres. The LRA kidnaps children to serve as sex slaves and soldiers. Children as youngs as twelve are forced to bear arms.
