I agree with cubfanbudman. It is a typical Chicago venue where the corporations only care about how much money they can take from the fans. They only way to really enjoy a race here is to be on top of a motor home in the infield. In the long run you will save some money since you are not allowed to bring in outside items if you are seated in the grandstands. $6 for a beer, what a joke. And what is a bigger joke is the "track packs" that they sell. You have to buy the whole season for all events. If you only want the Nascar races, you will need to buy tickets from a broker or private party. If you buy them from the track, you have to also purchase the open wheel events. This way they still get their money even when attendance is down when the open wheelers come to town. Chicagoland Speedway, get with the program and make your track more fan friendly like Bristol. I rather drive 10 hours to Bristol than 35 minutes to Joliet.

IVE BEEN TO ALL OF THE EVENTS AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY SINCE IT OPENED A FEW YEARS BACK. PARKING IS HORRIBLE THEY STILL CANT LEARN HOW TO PARK CARS IN A TIMELY FASHION. YOU CANT TAKE A COOLER INTO THE TRACK. THERE ARENT ENOUGH RESTROOMS OR PORTIPOTS FOR THE 100 000 FANS. THE TRACK IS EXTREMELY NON FAN FRIENDLY. THE SEATS ARE NOT LARGE ENOUGH AND THEY CRAM YOU INTO THE BLEACHERS AS IF YOU WERE A SARDINE. THE CONCESSIONS ARE OUT OF SIGHT WAY WAY TO HIGH COSTWISE. THE RACING IS ABOUT THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS CESSPOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A CORNFIELD. COME ON CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP GOUGING ALL THE MIDWESTERN FANS?? ALL I CAN SAY IS ILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO THAT DUMP IN JOLIET, OH WAIT JOLIET IS A DUMP TOO ONE BIG SEWAGE PLANT IN THE EASTERN PORTION OF ILLINOIS. IF YOU LIKE TO WAIT IN LINE ALL DAY IN YOUR CAR AND THEN AT THE TRACK, EAT AND DRINK EXPENSIVE FOOD AND BEER BE MY GUEST BUT I WONT.
