He is very very Republican. The interview I saw with him interviewing Pres-elect. Obama was terrible. He asked stupid questions, he was loud and arrogant.

I think after that interview Obama ratings went up. Obama was much calm and more intelligent in the end.

O'reilly is a flake

Kind of conceited but smart and cool! Don't like the definition portion of his broadcast though. His quizzes are good and educational.

A likeable guy. The election coverage is overbearing. It probably won't let up after the election. It's just not a show I can listen to every day.

Don't always agree 100% with him, but when you look at what he does, he's the best in the biz. When he is discussing any type of politics, he has both sides on, and here's a revolutionary idea, he lets them talk. Most other talk show hosts do not let their guests talk if their opinion differs. You may not like his opinions, but you cant say he lies and hates, he has a proven record of being one of the most fair hosts in the business, yet he is not a push over in interviews and likes to get his questions answered.

How low can his rating go. His words are all lies and hate.

I may not agree with him half the time, but he makes me aware about a variety of subjects, get off my duff and do something about quite a few that I did not realize I cared about and even change my views about a few I was incorrect or uninformed about. There is no other news program I watch or listen to that provides that much input into my life. That for me, puts This man at the top of the list.

More seriously, the guy is just one of many, on both sides of the political spectrum, who has found a schtick that builds an audience.  All of these types, be they called, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Franken, Coulter, or Dailly are entertainers, not journalists.

Bill O'Reilly holds most of the values I hold. I believe he is interested in the truth, no matter where that might lead him or leave him. Some of his positions are personally disagreeable, but he is not going to try to force me to accept them. He is intelligent and forward looking. He also is combative and rude sometimes. Occasionally he will become overbearing on a topic and beat it to death. His opinions are not there for show, but are held as sincere convictions. His show is generally not entertaining even though amusement is the standard for the industry. His is the show that is closest to what this country needs if we are to be an informed citzenry.

As a conservative, I find Bill arrogant, closed minded, and only in it for the money and fame. Though I agree with maybe 70% of what he says, I'm pretty sure we believe it for different reasons. Two thumbs down.

Claims to be "fair and unbiased" in his opinions but, in reality he comes across as an intolerant reactionary right wing nazi. He never misses an opportunity to bash Democrats, liberals, leftists of any kind and/or anyone who has an opinion that differs from his. He calls himself a "traditionalist" but, what this really means is that he secretly wants to turn the clock back to the conformist era 1950's and make everybody sit up straight, drink all of their milk, eat all of their vegetables, vote a straight Republican ticket, bring back the draft, get these young punks off of the street and into the military to straighten out their lives, salute the flag, put GOD back into our schools, have Catholic nuns slap your hands with a ruler for masturbating, etc. This guy is really nothing more than a windbag for the "everything is going to hell in this country" conservative mindset. The only things I agree with him at all on are his opinions on illegal immigration and the way Hollywood is pushing their homosexual agenda. The rest of his opinions are pretty much pure crapola.

A good reason to get caller ID. lol. I watch the O'rielly factor a lot, not becaue it is a quality show that says anything factual at all, but because in a way, it is like Jerry Springer. It is a horrible stupid, ridiculous show that makes you sick when you watch it, but you still are just hypnotized by it. He likes to argue about everything, even with people who agree with him lol. Its no wonder that he is all alone and has to get some over the phone.

Bill is often misunderstood by the left as neing conservative. He is NOT. He is more of a Libertarian. He doesn't like to be called one, but his views place him there. He IS the most fair when it comes to stating the facts. He will call out either side on any arguement. He goes for what is best for the people regardless of the issue. Too many people consider him arogant and obnoxious because they don't understand the real issues and believe that he talks over his guests just to hear himself talk. What they don't get, because they are not truly listening to the discussion, is that he asked them a simple yes or no question and instead of saying yes or no they started with well it's not that simple.... or Bill, we need to.... or some other bogus liberal SPIN just meant to cover up the facts. Has he ever let an intelligent person with opposing views get the last word in. He always makes a comment after they are off the air and then puts out his views and later tells everyone how he put the caller in their place. His only defense in a 1 on 1 with a skilled debater is to talk louder and call them names.
