08/07/2008 | Pete Gilcrease is phenomenal. I have a dozen friends (hey, Taco Deli!) who have excellent ink he's done, and at their recommendation I went to him for my biggest piece yet: a half sleeve that's currently in progress. I took him a complicated design idea that had stymied a couple of highly-rated artists here in town, and he nailed it like Kerri Strug with that broken ankle. His color work is unbelievable, he's about twenty TIMES as personable as any other artist I've met in town, and his shop is professional as they come.
