I've used this brand of cat litter for years and the litter is one of the best. the problem is the packaging. It sucks. the box is too big and very, very hard to carry. The handles on the sides won't allow you to get a firm hold on the box so most of the weight is on your finger tips. Hauling 40 pounds of litter with your finger tips is not a good idea. The side handles also allow litter to spill out the sides so you end up with a lot of it spilled in your car before you even get it home. If you have any medical problems with your hands you can pretty much forget opening the box easily. I do have problems with my hands and I normally spend fitteen to twenty minutes trying to open one box. I purchase from ten to fifteen boxes of litter a month. Until they go back to the old box I am forced to buy another brand.

I really want my cat to like the non-clay litters, but this is the one that she likes best and that we keep going back to. It's cheap, lasts long, dust isn't too bad, low tracking, hard clumps and no odor. So again, while I really want to use something that isn't hazardous to her if she eats it this is the little I will be using in the meantime because it works.

Although it's cheap, the dust that is kicked up after you clean the litterbox will consume the room and remain for the evening. I usually have to change my clothes afterwards just to get away from the dust. I don't recommend it. My cat has actually stopped using his litterbox too!

For a clay litter, this one works well in Littermaid litterboxes. The perfume mine put up was a bit too much for me, but my cat didn't seem to mind. The price is very good. It puts up a lot of dust. If your cat and you aren't allergic to dust and perfumes, you don't want a natural cat litter, and you are on a budget, this is a very good product.

I like the price and the smell.
