I have been a fan of Tiffany & co. since i received a necklace and an Elissa Peretti charm bracelet for my 21st birthday. Now 24, i have started adding to my charm braclet. my boyfriend kindly bought me the little blue box charm in sterling silver for my birthday in october. by the time i had it put on it was november. the charm lasted until mid december before it started decomposing. yes, decomposing! the ceramic box has started cracking and peeling and has become discoloured. i decided to take the bracelet off unltil i could have the rotting charm removed. i contacted Tiffany's via email, it took them nearly 3 weeks to reply. as u can imagine, im not too impressed. when they did reply, it was a standard email saying send it back. But what about the money ive spent getting a jeweler to add and remove this crap charm!? now i'm going to have to pay to post it back 2 them for i charm im not sure i even want anymore! DISAPPOINTED.Rant over.

Geez what user names on this site aren't already in use? I eventually was tired of being told the user name I requested was already in use so I let my fingers dance and came up with this snappy, easy to remember name.I bought the Tiffany bead bracelet in silver from tiffany.com. For anyone who is considering this item there are a few things to be aware of. It was $175.00 plus tax and standard shipping was $15.00. It arrived and I tried it on. I was absolutely disappointed! The reasons being because when I put the bracelet on my wrist the beads slid and there was this huge gap as if a bead was missing when it was not. Because of the gap you could see the chain which strings the beads on the bracelet=not a pretty look in my opinion. I'd much rather not see the chain underneath at all. The clasp was not long enough on the bottom and this prevented the catch from being secure. I was afraid that I'd eventually lose the bracelet because of this. The clasp was also very hard to work. The tiny Tiffany&Co tag/charm that dangled from the bracelet often was stuck upside down near the clasp which tangled or so that the 925 was face up instead of Tiffany& Co being face up. The little charm had a scratch/dent on it when it arrived as did one of the beads. For the price that you pay for silver from Tiffany's I expected higher quality when in reality it wasn't that high quality to me at all. The "little blue box" looked really cheap and the blue paper that they glue to the box was peeling off. So much for a keepsake. Overall I'm very disappointed and returned the item the same day it was delivered. My opinion is that Tiffany's is overprice and over hyped. The customer service wasn't all that great seeing that I inquired about my item and they said no such order existed then the next day I log into my account and see the "non-existent" order has shipped.

The silver baby rattles with engraving are perfect. Well forth the money and babies actually like to chew on them.

I ordered a diamond and sapphire ring there, and what I got was disappointing; not nearly as nice as the one in the case that I based my decision from (they could not size it, so had to order the same "model" from NY). I got a refund. Honestly, while in possession of the ring we compared its quality to other similar rings at other stores. The Tiffany sapphires were noticably poorer quality by comparison, very dull, irregular cut on some, and the coloration was not the same as what we first saw and asked for. It still shocks me to say it, but the ring looked like a cheap plastic ring. We saw rings elsewhere at 1/5th the price that looked much better, and had better stones. At least they were nice about the refund process, but I went to Tiffany's because I thought the premium you pay was insurance this kind of thing doesn't happen. Look closely, do your homework and ask to view the stones under a lupe, and if ordering a ring not in stock, make sure they are taking into account the stone grading on the one you selected.

Tiffany & CO. is well-known all over the world for its simple and classic style. We bought our wedding bands in Beverly Hills and it was a very pleasant experience to own the work-of-art jewelries. You'll get your money's worth.

Beautiful jewelry yes, but very pricey. I do have a few of their sterling silver pieces, but that is about all I can afford!

I am a former employee of Tiffany & Co. Just to answer your question of why Tiffany sterling silver is so expensive, well, yes you're paying for the designer name, but they've earned that name. Honestly, Tiffany has outstanding craftmanship and quality. Just compare it to any other piece of sterling silver jewelery and you will see the difference. You will see this excellent craftsmanship in everything they manufacture...from their sterling silver, to their crystal, to their engagement rings. I hope that one day I will get an engagement ring from Tiffany! And just for your info, Tiffany & Co set the standard for sterling silver (925 parts pure silver and 75 parts copper) that is now used worldwide.

Allthough I don't own any jewlery from Tiffany's, I would LOVE to! I get their catalogs just to dream, it's beautiful. And who wouldn't love to have a nice 2 carat ring from there?

Tiffany's is the greatest jewellary store ever, a lil expensive for us people who live in igloo's and cant even afford to move down south to warmer climates. I'd love to eat breakfast there though, dontcha know...pastries and coffee, just like audrey hepburn....Yummmm...ya know, it can really pick ya up down at tiffany's at 6 am, it can really take all of your cares away...just ask holly golightly
