What an idiot. He's best when he's "preaching" to a group of African-Americans. Perry actually thinks he's black. He assumes the mannerisms and dialect of African-Americans and looks and sounds like a fool....which actually makes him entertaining to watch, in spite of the fact he's a fucking idiot.

Stone knows so much about the old testament and studies it continually and comes up with terrific knowedge that is in the bible that we haven't yet heard. He compares and connects the old with the new and finds the hidden truths that enlighten us. However,it is our choice if we agree with what he says or not. He informs us with what he finds and we are free to accept or reject his studies. He is a teacher and a prophet. I think you will enjoy his show,,,,Manifest.

The NEWEST Pretrib Calendar

Hal (serial polygamist) Lindsey and other pretrib-rapture-trafficking and Mayan-Calendar-hugging hucksters deserve the following message: "2012 may be YOUR latest date. It isn't MAYAN!" Actually, if it weren't for the 179-year-old, fringe-British-invented, American-merchandised pretribulation rapture bunco scheme, Hal might still be piloting a tugboat on the Mississippi. roly-poly Thomas Ice (Tim LaHaye's No. 1 strong-arm enforcer) might still be in his tiny folding-chair church which shares its firewall with a Texas saloon, Jack Van Impe might still be a jazz band musician, Tim LaHaye might still be titillating California matrons with his "Christian" sex manual, Grant Jeffrey might still be taking care of figures up in Canada, Chuck Missler might still be in mysterious hush-hush stuff that rocket scientists don't dare talk about, John Hagee might be making - and eating - world-record pizzas, and Jimmy ("Bye You" Rapture) Swaggart might still be flying on a Ferriday flatbed! To read more details about the eschatological British import that leading British scholarship never adopted - the import that's created some American multi-millionaires - Google "Pretrib Rapture Diehards" (note LaHaye's hypocrisy under "1992"), "Hal Lindsey's Many Divorces," "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)" and "Thomas Ice (Hired Gun)," "LaHaye's Temperament," "Wily Jeffrey," "Chuck Missler - Copyist," "Open Letter to Todd Strandberg" and "The Rapture Index (Mad Theology)," "X-Raying Margaret," "Humbug Huebner," "Thieves' Marketing," "Appendix F: Thou Shalt Not Steal," "The Unoriginal John Darby," "Pretrib Hypocrisy," "The Real Manuel Lacunza," "Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism," "America's Pretrib Rapture Traffickers," "Pretrib Rapture - Hidden Facts," "Dolcino? Duh!" and "Scholars Weigh My Research." Most of the above is written by journalist/historian Dave MacPherson who has focused on long-hidden pretrib rapture history for 35+ years. No one else has focused on it for 35 months or even 35 weeks. MacPherson has been a frequent radio talk show guest and he states that all of his royalties have always gone to a nonprofit group and not to any individual. His No. 1 book on all this is "The Rapture Plot" (see Armageddon Books online, etc.). The amazing thing is how long it has taken the mainstream media to finally notice and expose this unbelievably groundless yet extremely lucrative theological hoax!

I was awed by him with the "Rapture" series. Then I bought more tapes. Then the disgrace came! Selling communion? and the balony with Meals that Heal!... Naughty, Perry! "VENGANCE IS MINE SAITH THE LORD"
My husband believed in you too, then after your farse stuff you started pulling; he went back to his old ways. Gave him an excuse to more or less say their all alike.
Another thing is. In another tape about purging your house he says
"snakes eat dust", why they stick their tongues out! WRONG! They stick out their tongues because their sensing body heat! Quit making up thing when you don't know the answer.
Money, money, money all they think about...like Benny Hinn, Swaggart, Tammy Baker and her fake wigs and make-up and many more crooks on TBN.

While there's no profit in running anyone down, I do wonder sometimes why TV preachers spend so much MONEY (it costs a lot of money to be on TV) preaching almost nothing but the End Times stuff.  Jesus said to watch -- that means to prepare your heart for God and focus on your relationship with Him; it doesn't not mean expending a bunch of time, effort and money in predicting exactly when He's coming back.  I fail to see the benefit in all this End Times rhetoric -- if you know you're ready, then get over it and move on to something else (preferrably spreading the Gospel to the lost).  IMHO

Perry Stone is very interesting. He spends a great deal of his preaching on the Old Testament and the Jewish Laws and worship. He does not use much of the epistles of Paul in his preaching and teaching. Paul was the apostle to us Gentiles, and what he says to the believers are what we are to us for doctrine. The book of Romans and Ephesus are the foundation of the Gentile Church. Perry seems to stay in the Jewish traditions. Paul taught that Christ Died for our Sins, died on the cross, was buried and arose from the grave. He teaches us that someday Christ will return. He teaches use to put away the Jewish Law and Days.

I watched him for the first time this week, and as someone with a degree in theology, I found his teaching to be heretical at certain points, and in the least laughable. He seems to operate from the most basic of Christian teachings, then expounding as he desires, making it up as he goes. His biblical quotes are proof texted, his examples incredibly over analyzed, and his facts always questionable. My friends and I had a lot of fun watching him try to support his ideas with faulty reasoning. If you do like what you are watching, I challenge you to look deeply into what he is saying, ask a pastor who actually has an education to help you understand it, and check what he is saying against the ancient creeds of the church that should give us the foundation of what we believe.

IMO Perry Stone IS one of the most honest TV ministers there is. He doesn't beg for money every broadcast and I believe his teaching is Biblicaly sound. I'm sure there are some who disagree on this and thats ok. TV is not the only place Perry preaches and teaches. He is an Evangelist and preaches all over the U.S. I enjoy his teaching very much. I just wish his show would go to an hour long.

When listening to any minister/priest, whether in church or at home watching on TV, it is your privilege and responsibility to verify the truth of what they say. Every time I have checked out Brother Perry Stone's teaching, I have found it to be enlightening. I believe that when the Lord gives you a "hearing heart", the blessed, precious Holy
Spirit of Jesus Christ leads and guides you into all truth, or as much truth as you personally are able to comprehend at one time. I keep a record of my questions as I study my Bible/pray for understanding...and am amazed at how quickly and thoroughly understanding is given because I ask from a sincere desire to know and experience my Lord Jesus Christ.
Perry Stone appeals to those who wish to be "one" with the Lord, whether they be Jew or Gentile. Isn't that what God truly desires? A united family of believers. My personal belief is that one is not a Christian/not a true faithing believer/do-er of God's Word if you do not accept the reality of Jesus Christ, virgin born son of God, God who came to earth clothed in human flesh to demonstrate that through HIM alone we may have life eternal. Since the life of a person is in the Blood, there had to be ONE PERFECT BLOOD SACRIFICE, ONCE-FOR ALL WHO WOULD BELIEVE WITH THEIR WHOLE HEART/MIND/SPIRIT and confess/repent of their sins. Repentance is a change of mind/heart and your deeds will reflect that, more and more as you grow in grace. To me, sanctification is a lifelong journey/growth in faith process. Jesus Christ IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY FOR A SINNER TO BE RECONCILED-REDEEMED-BORN AGAIN OR BORN FROM ABOVE. The only teaching of Stone's that I have heard at this time (and I haven't heard everything or read everything) that I have any questions about are some teachings about Rapture. I do believe Jesus is coming again for all true faithing believers, but I am just not certain that the believers are exempt from the great Tribulation. I think that believers have a job to do in telling the TRUTH/sharing the Word of God to help as many as we can; we are not meant to keep this GOOD NEWS to ourselves. Jesus issued an invitation to "Come" to Him for salvation/peace in our souls/eternal life. He never tried to force one soul into the boat (ark/safe place) by whacking them over the head with the boat paddle. THE WORD is powerful and sufficient; this is what I think Stone is trying to help folks understand. I believe the false/fake or Anti(against)Christ comes first, trying to fool even the professed believers. That we are in the "fig tree generation" (from 5/14/1948) I do believe. I appreciate Stone's enthusiasm for the Word, for teaching the Word and I think his rapid-fire speech pattern is from trying to pack so much info into a short program because he realizes time is of the essence. Finally, I have no problem with a servant of God having wealth or possessions as long as that is not their purpose in serving the Lord and as long as they are preaching/teaching and living the TRUTH as God wills us so to do.
Thanks for letting me post comments here. I need the TRUTH in my life, so teach on, Brother Stone. Becky/Chickamauga,GA

We are starting to see some things at play here and no one takes it serious, you can have an own persnal opinion all you want but God will back his stuff up!!! I believe Perry is an awesome man of God and his family also and i give him my 1,0000000% blessing and support everyone would know the truth if they read their bible and actually tried praying to GOd God's words do not come back void!!! Obviously for him to speak the world into existince there was a purpose and something to come out of it and many people want to blame God for free will but honestly would you rather make someone Love you or hope they want to Love you and realize you for you???? Good job perry i will see you in greenwood!

His obsession in finding that which is not there has become his trade mark. Studying the Bible does not imply looking for every possible interpretation of the smallest detail in order to support a particular and subjective theology. A word is a word, and can mean many things depending on the context in which is used. Therefore, a word can be used as a manipulative and distorting instrument to make a personal view justifiable. Words are being used for one purpose: build up sentence with the intention to convey an idea, thought or action. Spend more time in the meaning of the sentence than in a particular word, Perry!

Where does it say that quoting the Bible in itself proves anything? Satan quoted scripture to Jesus when he was tempted in the wilderness. Jesus answered with scripture and put everything in context. Scripture must be compared and contrasted with other parts of scripture and considered in context. If we do that,we are being faithful stewards of the word. Sadly, there are many Christians today who don't do that. They accept every word a man speaks as true. Even Perry makes mistakes. That does not make him evil, or a false teacher, it demonstrates he is human. We should check everything anyone says, not just Perry. A true man of God will not take offence if someone disagrees, or shows him another interpretation or even demonstrates he has not seen the whole picture. I trust Perry would have the grace to admit that where appropriate. Has anyone asked him about his series on life after death? I just wonder where he found most of that in the Bible, it was not clear from the way it was presented that it was mostly speculation, I just wonder if that was intentional or not.

Perry Stone is a great preacher and teacher, filled with the spirit of God. He stays in the word and gives scriptur reference to everything he says. I have learned a lot from Perry since I started listening to him. The Lord really uses Perry and has revealed a lot of prophetic events through him. I really feel sorry for these people that are so judgemental. In my humble opinion maybe these people need another trip to the alter to get saved. Matthew 7:1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. One person said a spirit led him away from Perry Stone. We need to be carefull of these spirits. One can be led by evil spirits because they don't want you to learn about the important things of the Lord and about his coming. 1 Timothy 4:1In latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. I have found that Perry's teachings are true. If you study the Bible and write down the references that he gives you and study these things for yourself you also will find that his teachings are right on.

Some of us DO spend hours in the Word. Perhaps RuthAnnMartin should not be so quick to judge people she does not know. Trouble is Perry manages to find things that are just not there sometimes. He says a lot of interesting things, but often he's just plain wrong. We need to learn to check out what he says for ourselves, accept the good stuff and not be afraid to reject the bad and to say so. None of us is perfect, not even Perry, so let's be honest with each other. Does anyone believe he gets it right all the time? If they do, they are on shaky ground indeed.

Most people will agree or disagree with a pastor or teacher or evangelist based on what they perceive to be correct or acceptable in their own theology. Most of these people will say "he/she tells it like it is" while never or hardly ever picking up the Bible and doing study on their own. I for one do not swallow everything I hear taught on TV or the radio until I do my own research in the Bible. Then if the Bible bears out what was taught, I say amen! but not until then.

I like Perry Stone. I noticed some negative stuff on google when I googled Perry's name. Nobody's perfect.

As far as the Blessed Hope, also known as the Rapture, the Biblical basis for believing Christ will come and take His people off the earth before the Tribulation is 1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 4:1.

Also Noah and Lot are a picture or type of the believer who gets rescued by God before God's judgment falls.

Perry Stone preaches the rapture and there is no biblical basis for it. Meaning, no chapter detailing this secret second coming for born agains only. Before you start bashing, I am a former born-again so I know a little about what I am saying. And if he has such important info to help "save" lives, why does he charge? Should he not have enough faith in God to believe he will be provided for?

Perry is a cool guy, preaches Jesus, and loves the Lord, as for anything else, you may not agree, even though what he says is clearly backed by scripture, but for yours and the sake of the body, please don't divide by proclaiming critical thoughts about someone who is doing the Lord's work. He is great with his visual artifacts, objects and teaching tools. I have the utmost confidence in him on his prophetic teaching. I am a Baptist believer but I have nothing bad to say about a fellow believer and warrior for the faith. Might be the current best of all prophecy experts out there. Really strong teacher on the imminency of the rapture.

Perry Stone is a no nonesense preacher...full of the MEAT of God's word.  His insight into Hebrew traditions as it relates to the rapture is extremely enlightning.  I have been blessed, and having gone to Bible college and studied the Word, I am no novice.  I find no fault with Perry's teaching.   He is a "right now" preacher.   Any one who can support a "liberal party that stands for the murder of full term babies being born (partial birth abortion) and homosexual marriage"  is ignorant of Gods word.  Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people."

I hadn't been listening to Perry Stone very long and so hadn't heard anything contrary to what the bible says. Since I like the historical information he gives to make the Word make more sense at times, I purchased a couple of tapes. Well, one set was on dealing with skeptics. He described atheists and agnostics and I was okay with that. THEN, he started describing liberals! Excuse me??? I am a democrat, have been saved for 50+ years, am spirit filled, and seem to experience more answered prayer than anyone I know, yet he puts me in the same category as atheists and agnostics! THAT made me mad! Preachers are not supposed to be politicizing - they are supposed to be preaching and teaching the Word of God. There are too many preachers nowadays who subscribe to the "religious right" and it is hurting the body of Christ. I know of people who are basically studying and praying alone or with a couple of friends because they feel ostracized by the church because they won't go along with the "religious right." Some people have told me their congregation was told that if a person is a democrat, then they are not saved. Oh, c'mon! Jesus was a liberal. I also know people who have switched to catholicism because the catholics don't politicize. I like the interesting historical information that Perry Stone gives in his messages, but I think he and others like him are doing a lot of damage to the body of Christ by putting their political views in the pulpit. As far as the "religious right" is concerned, a lot of people have been brainwashed by those people over the years, and frankly, many of us consider them to be the modern-day pharisees. I don't care what a minister's political affiliation is as long as he keeps it to himself. Yes, he should encourage people to pray about how to vote and to go to the polls because we have to live here, but a preacher should not be pushing one political affiliation over another. His job is NOT to convert his congregation in their political views - he's supposed to be preaching the bible.

Well rounded, eloquent as well as proficient in speech, Perry Stone is one of the few(including chuck missler and a couple of others) God has risen up with the bestowed mantle of prophetic interpetation of scripture as well as prophetic disernment of the mentality of Christ(1cor2:16),(rom11:33-36), (philippians2:3-5). He ministers from all aspects of the bible, from spiritual warfare, prosperity(with contentment(1tim6-8)), biblical prophecy, and hebraic perspectives(the "roots" of true christianty). And most definetly he has what every true christian supposed to have who is in love with Christ, a soul-oriented mind-set to reconcile the unsaved back in relationship with their forever loving creator, God.

Perry Stone 5

I have been knowing Perry Stone personally for about 10 years and live about 1 mile from Voice Of Evangelism. His son was in our Children's Ministry and worked there after he graduated to the youth Ministry. I have been helping Scott Ratcliff build sets and props for Perry for a number of years and since Scott left to start his own business, I basically build all of Perry's props now (and no, I'm not an employee or on the payroll). Since the first time I walked into VOE, everyone without exception has treated me with nothing but dignity and respect and made me feel like family. When they call me in and explain what they want as far as props or sets, they always ask me if I need any money and before I can get out the door, Charlie Ellis, Perry's right hand man, will have asked me at least once, twice and sometimes three times, "Are you sure that's enough money?" Voe has always taken care of their vendors and has always written me a check for my services BEFORE I leave the building. I have NEVER worked for anyone who is so honest and concerned about taking care of others. I can call Charlie or Darla, Charlie's assistant, and ask about some resources needed for something I am studying or interested in, and they have always provided teaching tapes or DVD's or anything else else I need without hesitation. I have been spending time with and observing Perry for years and can assure you that he is the same on and off camera. Now some of the things that he says in his sermons may leave you with a question mark over your head on occasion, but the man knows an incredible amount of Rabbi's, Jewish historians, Jewish heads of State, has done thousands upon thousands of hours of study and research and incorporates Jewish tradition and teachings, and speculation- which is always an element of what has to be done with Prophecy because the facts are hidden until the actual time comes for God to reveal the Truth. BUT- Perry has the knowledge and background needed in order to give some amazing "what if" speculation. Add all of this to a well grounded knowledge of the Bible and you have a great mixture for "Food for thought" which is what his teaching is all about ( of course this food for thought is meant to get people curious about what the Bible says and bringing people to Salvation). Perry never says that what you are about to hear is without a doubt the Truth, the Whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. It is, however, the Truth blended with a lot of thought and knowledge and research that points us in the right Prophetic direction that can and will be altered as God sheds more light on that particular subject. Perry's teachings and insight has on more than one occasion opened my eyes to deeper and richer things in the Scripture. Perry is not perfect and is a sinner saved by Grace as we all are, and I would be the first to blow the whistle if I knew anything hypocritical about him or VOE, but I can assure you that this is one man and Ministry that I have a ton of respect for can give a firsthand account of!

The greatest Evangelist ever lol JUST JOKING Now really I don't believe much this guy says [ See AutezMaven below for details ] . One more Televangelist that upgrades his B.A into a PhD . Don't get me wrong I don't demand a PhD for a teacher/preacher/or leech-er but if you say you have one it had better be a EARNED PhD from a real attended, accredited/not sounds like the name of an accredited College.

Basically, a "one trick pony," selling people on the idea that his eschatology is accurate to a T. Another one of the end-timers who only can attract a following by pandering to peoples' insatiable desire to know what's going to happen years from now. Unfortunate that people don't consume more time working for the Lord during the time we have on earth, rather than speculating and guessing what's going to transpire perhaps thousands of years down the pike. Truth is - no one has a handle on what's going to happen, Perry's "authoritative word" notwithstanding.

Stone has been preaching for 30 years. Married to the same woman for 25. Has had revivals to continue for 4 to 11 weeks with hundreds being saved and filled with the Spirit in the meetings. Seeing him on TV is one thing, attending a service is something else. He NEVER sends a letter to his mailing list asking for donations, puts 100% of all sales back into the ministry - has never taken any personal royalties. Is a forth generation minister and has a very godly, praying father. He has documented seeing things occure, years before they did as his partners are fully aware of. It is obvious some of you don't like ANYBODY who is a minister, because you have negative post about everyone else on this web site. I am sure some of you would give Jesus a bad rating, That;s because you are Pharisees.

I recently viewed Perry Stone on a local religious network in Augusta, Ga. As always he got around to extolling the virtues of President Bish and blasting the Democrats. So much for tax-exempt status. To paraphase, Stone said that the "opposition party" wanted thePresident to fail in Iraq. I don'tknow where Stone got his military credentials (perhaps from the same place his got his bogus Phd) but I would love to hear him express those sentiments to Senator Webb or Congressman Murtha. He just gets in front of a microphone and spouts the most inane nonsense while his hosts sit there and nod. This is one scary cat.
