The "Windy City Windbag" was the "Detroit Douchebag" in the 80's and I was glad to see him leave and infest Chi-town. Churlish little gerbil is gutless (hope Hawk or Ozzie whack the little wienie). Only thing worse than reading him is seeing his ugly mug on Around the Horn. ESPN keeps falling in love with people like him that are loud, controversial and poorly informed. Wish they'd stop...I watched Around the Horn once and that was the end.

Terrible writer and even worse on TV because you have to look at him and actually listen to his grating voice. Needs to go back to college.

I've been reading the Sun Times for 16 years. Mariotti is easily the columnist I loathe the most. He really makes me sick. He's not a native Chicagoan and it really comes out in his writing. He consistently refers to Chicago as the City of Weak Shoulders. WTF? He's a smug, self-righteous punk who really needs to take his ass back to Pittsburgh. This is a man who if I ran into on the street, I'd have a few words with. The rest of the country needs to know how unpopular he is in Chicago.

Don't be dumb. Mariotti, you suck! You don't know anything about the Cubs, Sox, or Bulls. It seems like you are either M.J's lover, or you are against him all the time. You are the crappiest one on Around the Horn, and no one likes you. You have no friends except Plaschke, whom I don't like either. Mention Matt Beaver on Around the Horn and you'll be cool. This guy is not interesting or entertaining. He's one of the least talented, most annoying and boring guys in sports journalism. Why in the world is he on television, and on the radio? This, is one of the great mysteries of our day.
