4.000001. Like Ginobli, just not enough roles left to play. Billups and Hamilton have there roles and Rasheed has his, what is left for Tayshaun to do.

He is a wonderful player. He has calm mind. He is a good defender. And he is also a active player so he plays aggressive. He will be better on offensive side next season.

A great player who gets better every year. Tayshaun has the innate ability to shut down or negate the impact of some of the NBA's finest talent at the small forward or point gaurd positions. The only thing keeping me from a 5 rating is the fact that I still cringe every time he puts up a shot.

Great All-Star Calibor Player. Great Shooter, Defender, Rebounder, Post Presence, and Shot Blocker!

Prince is quickly evolving into a all-star caliber player. His offense is catching up to his undeniably great defense. He doesn't have the typical NBA attitude, and he certainly doesn't seek attention like so many of his peers, but any student of the game can see he has yet to reach his full potential. I can't wait to see him in 2 to 3 years.
trackstar22 04/16/2005
Tayshaun Prince is a great player because he can do everything. He can play multiple positions and shoot from anywhere on the court. Prince is one of the best defensive players in the league. He is definitely one of the best basketball players in the league.

Solid 5 Tool Player with tremendous upside; Potential to be 18 pt / 8 rebound / 5 assist / 3 block / 3 steal a night guy; Needs to keep working on offensive consistency, but NEVER is a defensive liability!
Davis21Wylie 02/26/2005
How Prince is higher on this list than Jermaine O'Neal is beyond me; one would be hard-pressed to find any evidence to support the theory that Prince is a better player than O'Neal. Prince has a great wingspan, which makes him a very effective defender; however, that defense belies a very average player. Prince struggles to create shots, which wastes his above-average shooting skills. That same lack of offensive assertiveness manifests itself in Prince's low free throw attempt total, a sure sign that he's settling for jumpers rather than taking the ball inside. For a man of his length, Prince is a notably ineffectual rebounder as well, further driving down his stock. He plays his role well for Detroit, but several highlight blocked shots in last year's playoffs do not justify his presence this high on this list.

How can anyone say tayshaun is not a good player he is not only good at defense ECSPECIALLY on kobe, but he has also become a bit of a offensive threat. I think the pistons benefit huge from him. I can't wait for the years to come and to watch him continue to get better and better!

Incredible bench player. He plays good defense and can add a scoring punch coming off the bench.
zuchinibut 07/08/2004
Not a great player, but has shown that he can be quite good. Has the scoring ability to take charge and lead his team on his scrawny back. Should be a good NBA player for years to come.

Sucks Sucks cant guard Kobe
alphonso 06/28/2004
Nice player but he doesn't belong in the top twenty, let alone the top 10.

Tayshaun is the man!!! Have you ever heard of him having a bad game no!! It's because it doesn't happen. He's fast he;s tall and he can drop those 3's like their nothing. He is definitely going to be an all star and he is already making himself known on the Pistons. I love Tayshaun!!!!

Prince Tay Shaun is a monster ! What other player in the NBA blocks and knocks down the Shaq one game, dribbles behind his back twice on the way to the basket the next game, stuffs Kobe 5 games in a row and comes up with key jumpers and stuffs to kill the opposition's rally's ? Holy SH&*$ ! One time, I think I saw him take one step form the arc, go airborne and stuff it in front of the whole Lakers team. He's a freak of nature with those long arms but he's got skills and tons of speed and can play every position on the court. What's he going to be like if he puts on 20 lbs of muscle in the off-season ?

i looooooooove tayshaun. almost as much as i love uk. He's the best. With his wingspan and speed, he makes an excellent defender.
samjung23 05/28/2004
A steal and future all-star. Wonders of wonders, I love Tayshaun! The Pistons should sign this guy forever, and to as much money as possible! His enthusiasm, range, defensive abilities (block on Reggie the other night) and speed make him a monster. He is the perfect basketball player, in my mind. Five stars.

Tayshaun Prince is the reason that Darko, not Carmelo, is a Piston. Larry Brown thinks that Prince has the ability to be a star in this league - and I agree with him. Prince is a Freak of Nature, and I mean that in the best sense of the word. At 6'10 he has the skills of a guard, and the wingspan of seven footer. He can shoot the three, and is extremely athletic. If he can get a little stronger and survive the banging of the NBA, the sky is the limit for young Tayshaun.
