Excellent place to watch a game. Even better now that UK has winning teams. It is a beautiful stadium, not a bad seat in the stadium and the groundskeepers really take great care of the place. It is laid out perfectly and it is so user friendly. It is neater and louder than several of the more popular stadiums. I'd have to place the stadium about fifth out of the twelve SEC stadiums.

Why does UK need a big 70,000 seat football stadium? The football team should play in Rupp, because 24,000 seats are really only needed.

Very nice facility on a great campus. What's even better is the fans. Best around.

The team doesn't win, but the stadium is usually filled or almost filled. Tickets will get scarce when the team starts to win.

My experience at Commonwealth Stadium was that it was an alright college venue. The stands are very new, which is good in the sense that you don't ever get the feeling that they're wearing out, but at the same time, there's little history or atmosphere in the modern aluminum look. The UK marching band was dreadful (they tried the Michigan chair step, but couldn't even keep one row guided correctly) and the PA announcer unfortunately misspelled Kentucky, of all things. The fans weren't terribly loud or frightening, but they were angry -- the best word to describe them would be bitter. The quality of play was generally good, though it was rather quaint how much they celebrated every first down. If you want to sit down and watch an SEC football game, come here, but if you want the wild southern football atmosphere, look at Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina.

Wait a minute, a basketball school's half-filled stadium is better than a football school's always filled stadium. Man, if crack prices keep falling like this we'll all be high soon.

Beautiful Stadium, Symmetry is remarkable very classy, filled with polite blueclad fans who are suprisingly loyal considering the teams history, beautiful campus and great gameday traditions........all that is missing is a consistent winning program

Those who haven't seen this stadium must do it! An aerial picture of it shows that it was striking as its shades of blue and its symmetry make it attractive.
