His tricks are cool but he has the personality of a chicken bone!

Gave street magic a much needed shot in the arm, but there are truly more gifted magicians out there.

Love this guy! Intriguing and sexy! I'm always mystified with all he can do. I love how down to earth he is with everyone. I know he likes to take things to the limit, which is part of what makes him so interesting, but I just hope he doesn't go too far one day.

If you could show the world something new, inspiring...without fear, and yet still within everyones grasp to do...would you do it alone, by yourself were know one else could see? So what if you accomplished this great thing, it's hard enough to convice someone of anything without them seeing it, staring right at it...how much harder to tell someone, hey i fasted for 44 days. I would call bull@#$% we can't survive that long without food, i can't go two days without. We can do amazing things as humans (more if we worked together),it would be selfish to accomplish such feats and not share it with others. Ever wonder why world records are beat again and again, each time someone brakes a barrier everyone else knows it CAN be done because it 'has' been done and this pushes us to break them again and again, allowing us to grow. People fear what they don't understand, it's the weakness that bonds our failure if life.

This guy may have started the street magic fad but Mindfreak is beating him at his own camera tricks game.

Not a big fan of special effects and camera tricks passed off as " reality tv".

Excellent television producer and publicist. Uses camera tricks and edits to acheive his magic then passes it off as live. Popular with people who don't know better but a plauge on real magicians.

David Blaine, known by all as an entertainer is beyond this. Although highly successful, and some might attribute fame to the reason he attemppts endurance feats, clearly that logic is an illusion. What I see is an artist who uses his fame and craft to draw attention to our own questions as to what we capable of. His quest to prove that fear should have no power in our lives is an example of this. He is, no question, a man of heightened spiritual capabilities. God bless him.

He is definately not the come and go type. Blaine has made history in his originality and simply breathing life back to magic and that is no simple feat ~

Starving yourself and drinking nutrients from a IV pump isn't really a magic trick now is it?

This guy blows away any magician. Freak of nature ;) Saw him do some wild tricks that were so creative and impossible that I thought they set these stunts up. Not so he just does em and freaks people out completely. I bet he's the life of the party wherever he goes.

Hooray, a man who brings magic to the streets and to those who wouldn't normally get a chance to see a magician. OK so he wasn't the first to do this but he timed it right and performed some borrowed tricks very well and even invented some of his own. Those who know magic will know how hard it is to invent and just as hard to create your own routines, let alone perform them on the streets, close up, in front of people who would normally feel more comfortable dealing in smack or having sex with their sister on their Uncle/Dad's farm. He knew that there is only so much of a magicians act that the viewing public can take before we snort yeh, seen it all before or Levitation, I can do that and has since put aside his street act and gone for the feats of human endurance, following in the footsteps of his idol, the late, great Harry Houdini. Buried Alive, Encased in Ice, Standing on top of a pole and 44 days in a perspex box - when will it end? perhaps when he decides to end his own life as a final act of magical selfishness.
