The funniest thing I've ever heard this guy say was that computers were the sign of evil because the word "computer", if you give each letter a number that's multiplied by six according to its placement in the alphabet (A=6, B=12, C=18, etc.) and then add them all up, you get 666. I almost choked to death when I saw that. Also, why is it when the camera is on Rexella (that sounds like the name of a dinosaur) her face takes up the entire screen but not when the camera is on her wacky husband? Are they trying to scare people?

VanImpe is very knowlegable. HE knows his bible frontward and backward. I don't like his silly jokes. He repeats himself every week. We watch hoping for a new insight. He is a straight shooter.
bishopdh 12/31/2008
Prophecy and speculation are two different things. Much of what Van Impe presents is merely speculation. And speculation and the gospel are two different things.
billiefan2000 08/23/2008
He does believe there will be Pets in Heaven, which I believe there will be and is one of only a few preachers on tv who admits the sad truth that there are many Lukewarm Churches and Lukewarm Pastors in america.
questioneveryt hing 08/17/2008
I watch Jack Van Impe every Wednesday night on TBN. He and his wife are precious! They compare todays current events, including daily new articles, with Bible prophecy. You can see him here at their website: www.jvim.com/tv/ to Jack--please forget about 2012!!! Who cares about the Mayan calender and what nostradamus says? since when do we start worrying about dates? Jesus himself couldn't even say when.
west2nd 08/08/2008
Him and his wife are creepy as all get out. Their announcer "Chuck" is also wierd. Like the guy in Billy Madision said, "We are all dumber for having heard it, and may God have mercy on your soul."
wolfsong03 07/04/2008
Zuma...the dinosaur bones came from eternity past, when he said to Adam and Eve to REPLENISH the Earth...it means there were people before.
Syd2008 06/19/2008
Jack Van Impe has a phenomenal view of bible prophecy. The preaching of Christ's coming is not doom and gloom. Especially to those who Love righteousness and the coming of the LORD. However, for those who do not believe, I do agree, it is doom and gloom for they do not have any real hope!!!
bigbaberuth 05/16/2008
He preys on peoples fears. I was just reading an article posted at the consumer site, http://www.iripoff.com who challenged him to tell us about false profits.
lmorovan 04/16/2008
The doom and gloom prophet for many years. I don't think no one will be more disappointed than him, when the tribulation comes and he will still be here to go through all of it.
Messanger 03/19/2008
Jack like all priests and preachers have missed the mark on the teachings of Christ. Mat 25 says all have fallen asleep. That means everyone. But someone is sent to wake them up. Why? Because the wedding feast is about to begin. Jack, If you want to know how to wake up go to freedomcatchthespirit.com. Jack, you have so much good to give but if you do not wake up or (repent) all the good that you do will go to the treasury of Christ and not to you. Just like the man who cast out demons in Christ name. This man did not run the race according to the rules.
SONYANOBODY 11/12/2007
he is ok but he should not teach the rapture. if there was one, it would be it the Bible!
he is the reason that so many people will be decieved!!
i do like the fact that he does the news paper thing
i really enjoy that paper part!!
BUT it's when he gives false teachings about a word that IS NOT
in the BIBLE. that is bothersome!!
don't fall for it.. , I do think we are living it the end times..
but... he better think about what he is doing to people.
remember the 2 tares!!!
don't be the first one taken..
this is what he is teaching!!!!!
GOD forgive him
Kristine74 10/17/2007
A really humble guy!
eagle0468 10/16/2007
I would like to give Mr. Van Impe 0 Stars because he professes that the end times are near. His belief is misaligned with the word of Christ. His focus is malignant to the meaning of salvation. His message is hateful and repugnant in the least.
Jayjo 09/01/2007
Well, these people come off a little less greedy than other televangelists although they pump their merchandise as a "must see/read for every christian". I do think they believe what they preach. The thing that really makes me laugh is his goofy numerology. "Proving" his end-time philosophy by the sum of the *ENGLISH* spelling of words and thereby proving their satanic nature?! Since when did *ENGLISH* and its spelling, which as we know it did not exist for centuries later, become God's language????? DUR!
writerbob 08/03/2007
One very helpful feature of his TV broadcasts is the frequent listing by Rexella of pastors who have regained sanity, i.e. "lost their faith", and published books. I've benefitted greatly from these listings.
Donna1 06/13/2007
I have been watching and learning from the show for many years. A great teacher.
Karn 05/04/2007
Dr. Van Impe suffers from overdone guilt stemming from his former religious feelings about the Roman Catholic Church. Rather than repent and move on Van Impe has forgotten the lessons of The Reformation and become a full-blown cheerleader for popes and Roman Catholicism. Often his Bible references are not even remotely connected to his subject...as though he were doing a Joyce "stream of conscienceness" exercise. If you want to be hit with a LoveBomb Van Impe is for you. If you want biblical truth seek elsewhere.
frc 04/27/2007
I think the presentation is a little silly at the beginning of their program--silly little jokes that are really dumb--but the international part is interesting. The spouting off of many scriptures is tedious and showoff wereas teaching of the scriptures as related would be more beneficial.
kdbjja 04/08/2007
He is great. Thank God someone reads their Bible. We have too many people that criticize others whithout looking at themselves. He preaches the word in season and out. When its popular and when its not. He is following his calling and is not intimidated by what others think. He and his wife are real examples of what Christians should be doing in these last days. Praise the Lord.
Lisadh 04/05/2007
I Love Jack van Impe and his wife , their show was a great comfort to me in the hardest time of my life.I am drawn to the end times preaching because I look forward to seeing my precious savior Jesus Christ.
Jesuslives50 04/01/2007
The Van Impe's are wonderful Godly people. What a wonderful ministry they have. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Van Impe for your voice for Jesus.

A man who seems to seek the truth
Doulos 03/29/2007
I don't know what happened to Jack. He has apparently gotten in bed with Rome & enjoyed it enough to become on of her main defenders. Convert already, Jack! Sheesh. 1 Star. Shame.
Galut 03/24/2007
has a good understanding of the scriptures
as he says take your morning newspaper in one and the bible in the other...
most critics have not read thier bible in years if ever...
it is time to take your ow bible out and dust it off and read it daily
Victor83 03/14/2007
Any way we could get a consensus that TV evangelists are all scum? I just asked for a miracle. How much do I owe?
go10go4 03/14/2007
Another "one trick pony." Only talks about the end-times. I fail to understand why so many people are drawn to these guys who only talk about Revelation and the end-times. The funny thing - they all have different slants on the issue, which makes you wonder, "Who is right?" For me the answer is "None." Revelation is intended to be interpreted in general terms, not as specifically as these guys would have you believe. And what's with the husband/wife duo bouncing the same ideas off of each other? It's like watching a newscast where both anchors give you exactly the same news. Jack VanImpe is known as "the walking Bible?" according to the above description. My question - by whom? The guy interprets everthing according to his own eschatology.
PassTheLoot 03/11/2007
But jack what if your wrong about everthing ?
AlanLovesDevon 02/27/2007
What's that about the book of Daniel again? And again. And again. And again.
GenghisTheHun 02/24/2007
He is not your standard goober bawling into a mike. He has interesting topics once in a while. I always liked his series on the freemasons.
Bo777 02/24/2007
You ever wonder how Jack can appear to rattle off scripture faster than a speeding bullit meant for Superman. Hey kids, it's called a teleprompter. But I have to admit, jack and rexella are the funniest couple on TV. "Praise God, Armegeddon is coming soon and millions are going to die"
rusty9hawk 02/11/2007
I don't care one way or the other about their teachings (not being Christian I can't figure out their tortured meanderings) but they are, hands down, the funniest couple on TV. "Jack, how come you're so smart?" "Well, Rexella, you're a doctor now too." They certainly put the fun back into Christianity.
itchycoo 02/08/2007
Funnier than Burns & Allen. I loved it when Jack said we'll all be 33 in Heaven because DNA doesn't change that much after age 33...something like that. Hilarious. All the while his robotic skeletal wife Rexella nods vacantly.
Sundae 02/06/2007
I watch him and Rexella on occasion and think they are right for the most part.
navymomtoo 01/21/2007
I think the man has some real knowledge when it comes to prophecy and I think he is real mixed up in some areas of the Catholic religion. But I think he means well even if he is confused.
godlybrotha 01/07/2007
A definite example of someone with a lot scripture recollection and a lot of knowledge, but not a lot of understanding. Even satan quoted scripture, but how much understanding did HE have? *Camera cuts to Rexella, who does her usual empty-headed nod*
beforeandafter 12/30/2006
He has a great deal of Bible knowledge and is very interesting.
BB2004 11/04/2006
His program is extremely interesting.
CloudTen 11/03/2006
I like Jack and Rexella most of the time. They are telling it like it is.
Montgomery 11/03/2006
He's very wise and knows the Bible well. I think he's a good person.
Majesty 10/27/2006
Their programs are very interesting and appear to be scriptural.
Lazarus0673 09/24/2006
I love these two. Certainly their presentation skills and appearance are not exactly what we've come to expect from the mainstream media outlets today, however, they come across to me as being honest, theologically enlightening, and entertaining.
Suitelife 09/24/2006
The few times I have watched the program, Jack and Rexella were very intesting and appeared to have good prophetic teaching.
AntonBarone 09/23/2006
Jack has changed. Or has he? Very knowledgeable yet so wrong on many things. He thinks the Pope is a great christian. www.gty.org
JuneF 09/09/2006
Jack and Rexella VanImpe have been in ministry for years and I've seen some of the programs on TV. He seems extremely knowledgeable of the Bible and prophetic things.
LawlingFenix 08/26/2006
There's only one way to describe him, he's full of it. He keeps predicting when the world will end and hes always wrong. He's constantly advertising stuff on his show to make him more money. His whole show is a scam.
jro1936 08/15/2006
money grabber only
SweetDee06 07/15/2006
How I miss the days when someone had "Dr" in front of their names, that meant that they were ACTUAL medical doctors. Nowadays, clowns like Creflo Dollar , Jack Van Impe and a host of other evangelists put that title in front of their names...MOSTLY based on HONORARY degrees...and BOOM, their "doctors." You can fool some of the people SOME of the time... It also bothers me that he is so "buddy buddy" with the pope. But hey, that's another topic altogether, and it's not my intent to offend.
TimmyAdonis 07/12/2006
I feel Jack and Rexella VanImpe are well trained in the Bible.
blue47 07/11/2006
The guy and his wife are the two best comedians since Laurel and Hardy. Talk about some funny stuff. They are great! Anyone see the program about the price scanners in the grocery being the "work of the devil." Now talk about some funny material. Jay Leno would have been proud! I was watching last night. I see now Rexella is sporting a Dr. in front of her name. A doctor of what? Where did she get her doctorate in a crap game? Have you every noticed the list of the TV evangelists, how many of them have a "Dr." in front to their name? I always wonder where it comes from...LOL They are so self promoting to the uneducated masses who are impressed with title of Dr. or bishop, or elder. Jack and Rexella are so funny. Another funny show last night. Now Jack and Rexella are on the plague of "bird flu." Of course all of this is foretold in the bible in the "last days." Funny, they can never tell about all the plagues until AFTER THEY HAPPEN. Ummmmmmm? Great show Jack, you're the best! Another great show last night ther Jack Van Dippy. We were on global warming and science in general. Jack and Rexella know about as much science as my pet cat. Does anyone really believe this BS. It is easy to stand here and perdict back. "Look, Look the bible foretold this in such and such way." Standing here now and telling me something next week! Try that and I mean a date, time and name! So silly...
