There are several topics that often warrant a longer post, but on the flipside, I'd hate to be subjected to more bumbling garbage from some of the nonsensical morons on here. I hardly need to waste my time scrolling through a two page dissertation of why Britney Spears is hot or why George Bush "sux".

02/21/2005 | Adding longer posts and position papers would be fun. There are some topics that could be discussed in greater detail- that necessitate greater detail than there is the room to generate under the current format.

02/16/2005 | This might be a good way to cut down on comments that some people find too long to read.I will read longer comments if interested enough,but I also think it wise to be concise.Sometimes,however,an issue begs a lengthier review.This would provide such a forum.

10/07/2004 | This, I think, would be a lot of fun, as long as it still remained true to the purpose of RIA -- to voice our opinions. It would be nice to be able to use paragraphs in a really in-depth review of something.

12/11/2003 | As someone who likes to write (and read the opinions of others), I think this would be pretty cool. Sometimes a one paragraph comment is not the right vehicle to express yourself on a compex topic - an essay / whitepaper tool would be neat. There's a number of outstanding writers on this site, I'd love to see them have a more expanded tool to express themselves.
