11/24/2007 | The best "big" track in North America. Betting windows galore. The San Gabriels in the background add to the beauty of Santa Anita. Love hearing Trevor live. The dowhill 6 1/2 F Turf course looks like it starts in the adjoining neighborhood.

12/07/2004 | A lovely setting for a track with a very nice physical plant. However, it doesn't have the charm of a Saratoga or the old Halieah but very nice. Too bad California can only field 8 races most days with fairly limited fields except for the El Camino Real Downhill Turf Course.
