I don't want to get off on a rant here, but (Thank you, Dennis Miller)... 98% of the people who voiced an opinion here has done little to no research and are basing their opinions on the tabloid trash and NOT Nicole. She had it tough, and I don't mean poor little rich girl tough. She had medical problems all through her youth, her Adoptive father Lionel and her Adoptive mother feuding over alledged infidilities, being jerked around the world by her parents.... the list goes on. Now I am not saying she is perfect.... heaven forbid.... but she grew up as best she could. I respect her in the since that I would anyone growing up in a tough situation. I like Nichole because she is very real. Paris is so fake. She is fake about her life and fake about friendship. I am not sure why they are not friends, but Nichole made the show. Paris should make up with her because the show is nothing without Nichole. Plus those discusting pictures on the web that Paris did, I could not believe her, yet Nichole stood by her, through that mess! How soon she forgets. I dislike it when people come off so high and mighty and at the end of it all they are the ones who are the SKANKS. Just because you have money does not mean you are God's greatest gift, It just means that you have more money to manipulate people.

Talk about misery, Martha watches this dreck one in a while. Now that wouldn't be so bad, we have more than one tv set, but she subverts my trusty sidekick, Fido, to watch it with her. One time Fido got the hives so bad, reacting to this drivel, I had to take him to the vet. It cost me $126.88 for the overnight stay!

I agree with James76255 - Paris Hilton's coattails - ROTFL - what better proof that even talentless hangers on have hangers on. Only one thing I might disagree with; I doubt she'll ever make it to the where are they now files. While I think Paris Hilton has more chances of making it big in the future out of the 2 girls on the Simple Life, and I don't think it is because Paris has more talent, because she obviously does NOT. I still think Nicole Richie could make it big if she would just focus...but as it stands now she likes to mess around too much and never take anything seriously...maybe she doesn't want to be a celebrity? Who knows? I do think she is very comical...and it was very obvious every time you watched the Simple Life that Nicole Richie was the intelligent one...well unless she was drunk of course...but I have seen alcohol do worse to people with higher IQ's than hers...
