01/16/2006 | Got to agree with magellan. Rounded up some people and went yesterday for the first time. The facility is ok, not stunning but it's a fun place and they've got great deals to attract newcomers. It was not very crowded and most people were there for the simulcast. On a sunny day, to be outside and spend as little as $2 a race and maybe make a few dollars, it's a great day out.

05/09/2005 | I don't have much to compare it to, but Bay Meadows is a blast. $1 beers, $1 hot dogs, live music - and oh yeah, the horse racing is good too. My only complaint is that it's tough to hear the race call from the grandstand. For those of you in the bay area, I strongly recommend a Friday night at Bay Meadows. It's a really good time.

11/03/2004 | Middle of the road. I've barely ever even seen this track (please note most of the tracks I've rated I've never been to. I'm rating based on the video I've seen of the track and facilities and the racing product they put on, i.e. field size, value, etc.). Small fields hurt it, but I'll give it a 3.
