02/28/2006 | pretty good game but not to what i was expecting it to be. the guns are ok the story line is ok. and you dont get the crazy physics that was in the first one. in the first one i liked playing destruction derby. you take 2 wart hogs and run them into each other head on and one of them goes flying. plus i liked taking a ghost and pulling some sick tricks off of the tanks. just typing this makes me miss it even more. i did like having the fuel rod canon for once and being able to fly the banshee was pretty cool(multiplayer).

01/06/2006 | My rating would be better if those in charge of XBox Live would do more to prevent cheaters in the games. It would not be difficult to hire people in different areas to log on and experience firsthand the abuse some of the players dole out. They also need to be tougher on quitters. The game is rated M for Mature, yet many of the players on XBL sound a LOT younger than 18.

12/30/2005 | I'm Chris. I LOVE this game! If you get this game then get Xbox Live because it's HELLA fun. The Campaign in Halo 2 wasn't all that fun and i heted playing as Elites. (it's sooo stupid) but if you play with ur friends it's the funnest game in the WHOLE world!!!!!

12/11/2005 | Xbox LIVE is great, but the single player is so bad it brings down the score. The campaign put me to sleep, no where near as good as Halo 1 which got boring at times. I hated playing as the Arbiter, and the ending goes without explanation.

10/19/2005 | Ok im Sam (The greatis Halo 2 player of all time) if you have never heard of this game lisen to me now. U lisening? OK, this first person shooter game is a GOD for me i worship it. And you know why? The guns, dual weild, tanks, warwogs, the maham, the chaos, the destruction, the XBOX LIVE, the glory and the pride of beating your friends online... did i say guns yet anyway multiplayer get 140% although the story it self, the starting all good and fun but about half way though a litle boring, around the end confused and very boring because it the same thing all over again and confusing because this giant plant guy comes out of nowhere and its just confusing so i give 60%. In conclusion this game is not exacly fun when it comes to the story but the multiplayer is so freaken awsome its worth it.

04/30/2005 | first of all i own over one hundred xbox games alone and halo 2 is on the baddest list! awsome game play sort of long too i love the main theme music ive learnd how to play it on the guitar! and most incerdable (sorry cant spell that) made game next to doom 3! great story and the same and more awsome vhecles as the first one! this is only a few things i can say ok let me just say it your supied and retared and evil barsterd not to buy this GAME! o yeh i forgot the only bad thing about this game is NOTHING!!

03/20/2005 | The multiplayer for this game is top notch except for all the bugs, glitches,and cheaters online. As for the story I have to say the game sucked and did not live up to the hype; also I don't give two large craps about what rock band did the music or what hollywood stars did the voice acting. Halo 2 is nothing more than a wanna-be starcraft, independence day starwars with medievil roman catholicism thrown in. The campiagn is boring and slightly exciting at some parts and since when did the alien guys learn how to speak sophisticated english. Suck a dick Bungie!!!

12/18/2004 | I really didnt like this game, story was boring as hell, the new warthogs and ghosts werent worth a damn, the guns werent as useful as in the original, the duel wield was useless, and they held hardly any ammu.After beating it two days after I rented it, I started playing Halo 1 and actually having fun. the only reason I gave it a 2 is because split screen was slightly better. Not Recommened.

12/05/2004 | Doesn't quite live up to all the hype. Don't get me wrong. XBOX live is pretty darned cool. However, if it were possible, I would much rather play halo 1 on xbox live. It has better gameplay. Halo 2 offers more customizaion of just about every feature but it is hard to judge this soon as far as gameplay goes. The story line is pretty lame for a game that was said to Re-invent what it means to have a story line in a game. Not anything amazing, although playing as the covenant was pretty cool. There was just too much of it. I mean, you don't even finish the game as the master cheif. The flood weren't cool enough for a reprise. All you have to do is point and shoot and avoid the exploding guys. I also can't tell much difference in the AI's if there is any at all. Multiplayer gets a four. Single player gets a two.

11/13/2004 | One of the most highly-anticipated games ever, its release date pushed back so many times, it had BETTER be worthwhile. And, judging from preliminary play, it's at least as good as the original. I'm not a big fan of FPS's (first-person shooters), but hell, I'll give it a shot. Graphics are excellent, though it's not that much greater than the original Halo game. The customization is a nice touch, but it's just bells 'n' whistles. Because I'm NOT big on FPS's in general, it's kind of hard to get the controls down, but it's not that much different than other games of its genre as far as that goes. And for storyline? Well, I'll tell you when I get there. As it stands now, it's a 4: At least as good as the original, but hasn't shown me anything too new . . . yet. We'll see if it gets a 5 as gameplay goes on.

11/11/2004 | Halo 2 is all that and more it is the game to have.Its the best game ever to come out peroid.The graphics are awsome and the control is as good as ever.The story is great the only bad thing is the single player has to end but thats where xbox live comes in.Halo 2 sold over 2.4 million copys and made over 125 million in the first day.Thats the biggest for any game or movies released.The only people who well put this game down is ps2 owners because they cant play it on their crappy ps2 and pc owners are mad because halo is the biggest FPS of all time.So let them cry while us xbox owners play the biggest game of all time

11/10/2004 | Dude, Bungie screwed the world with Halo 2. The multiplayer is totally messed, there is no skill required, and the graphics in multplayer (especially the textures) arent even as good as the original halos. Xbox live is its best feature, because the campaign still sucks. Expect to see many of these in the USED section in your local gamestore. I hate the super high jumping and the invincibility to falls of any height. The graphics, even when you play alone, look more cartoony than realistic. Don't buy it, just play it at your friends house and decide.
