about a 3.5. Cybill had it's good moments. she was a twice divorced woman with a daughter from each marraige. Really for me the best part of Cybill was Christine Baranski the friend of Cybill. she was this bitter woman who was still furious with her ex husband for leaving her the way she called him dr. Dickyou got the idea what she was thinking.could be good at times. I am not a huge fan of Cybill Shepard,she was okay in this but the other actors were better. kind of a funny thought that if Cybill Shephard left the show I would not have cared.

I can't say I was a regular viewer, but "Cybill" was okay for what it was. The concept of an aging actress (Cybill Shepherd) struggling to find roles, raise her two children, and handle her ex-husbands provided a decent foundation, but it was clearly Christine Baranski who made the show work when it did. Shepherd was usually a bit stilted, but Baranski portrayed her character with flair. Not groundbreaking by any means, but "Cybill" is worth a watch when there's nothing else on the tube.

Pretty funny show. Cybil and Marianne were classic friends. I loved their antics.

Great chemistry between Cybill and Marianne, but then Cybill tampered with the show, getting rid of popular exhubby Tom Wopat and using Marianne less and ruined it.
