Will FOREVER be enthralled by her casting in ONCE AND AGAIN (although the writers telegraphed her plotlines with elephantine grace). THIRTEEN was a headline-grabber, and with good reason. Super-dangerous time for her now; does she buckle under and get implants for her next feature, or take the path least travelled and hold out for something wonderful?

One of the btes, most promising young actresses on the scene. She gives her performances such heart- she really becomes her roles with depth rarely seen even in the most experienced actress. Her performance in Thirteen was simply amazing. Definitely one to watch out for.

one of the better young actresses working right now. The first thing i saw her in was Digging to China when she was very young she was good in that. She did a great job in Thirteen as the young teen who gets caught up with the wrong group of kids and winds up down a bad road of drugs and sex etc. She shows a lot of promise as and actor.

I've never seen any of Evan's previous films, in fact the first time I saw her was in Thirteen. Critics were raving about Holly Hunter's performance in the film and don't get me wrong she was good, but the person who held my attention was Evan Rachel Wood. I thought she did an excellent job playing a teenager who succombes to peer pressure and growing up too fast under the influence of popular girl Evie and wanting to be liked, respected and seen as a sexual desire. Her transition from good girl to bad was excellent. There are many young actresses who have portrayed teenagers in their own unique style, sometimes not sincere enough. Evan played Tracy so well, quite possibly one of the best performances depicting a rebellious teen.
