 | GenghisTheHun (168) 03/10/2008 | Beevor does good work and his book here is really first rate. He is a Brit, loved the Commies and other leftos, but I even liked his Spanish Civil War work. In this work, he is generally evenhanded.

 | Atul Krishna (0) 11/03/2005 | It is very thorughly researched book. The author is unbiased to mention the German and Russian cruelity. It was a horrendous battle which took heavy toll of both the sides. There is only one drawback; there is no mention of 'Operation Mars' in which Zhukovs Army suffered its heaviest defeat.

 | Reichenberger, Kirby (0) 03/26/2005 | Intense account from Ivan's perspective, as well as fritz. I could not put it down once I started. Simply the standard when it comes to stalingrad.
