Her ankle was cracked throughout her entire office and she couldn't even stand, but she still did everything that was nececarry to be a first lady and was never invalid.

Abigail Fillmore was just good to have around because she was so practicall, she added bathrooms and a library to the white house. After the killing of her husbands predececer she was the only person not wearing black at Millard's inaguration. When this made others angry she said it was her husbands inaguration and not Zachery Taylor's funeral.
