02/20/2006 | Edith Wilson was a terrible First Lady. She married well, grabbed at power whenever she could, and was more than thrilled to take over for her husband after his stroke. People have that perception of Hillary Clinton now, but Hillary would have been flogged by Edith Wilson

08/08/2003 | Hers is a very intriguing story: married while WW was in the White Housea, and then essentially running the federal gov't after his stroke in Sept 1919 to the end of his term. Thankfully, she caused less havoc than he did!
