02/20/2006 | Grace Coolidge was vivacious and amazing. She loved baseball, dancing and being being First Lady, and never took the role too seriously (compared to her dull-as-a-doornail, inept husband). She also was far smarter than anyone ever gave her credit for. Most of all, she actually enjoyed what she did. And she became the matriarch of all the First Ladies to follow her. She was a fine First Lady.
