My baby is almost 6 months old. I breastfed for the first month and a half. She was not gaining weight but loosing it and I felt really bad at not even a month old i was having to feed her like 6 oz every hour and she still screamed because she was hungry. So I gave her Enfamil with iron. BAD IDEA, she was so gassy and could not poop. So I switched her to Enfamil for babies with fussiness. I had her on it for about 3 months. still not happy she was spitting up so much and pooping was still hard, So I put her on Similac Organic, She is doing fantastic, less spit up she is pooping right, and no gas, SIMILAC ORGANIC IS GREAT!! a little expensive but worth it.

The Enfamil (or any formula) with Lipil will probably make your baby sick. If you are breastfeeding exclusively, that would be the healthiest choice to continue. If you have already switched to formula, I would see a lactation consultant about your chances of relactating.
My pediatrician told me to suppliment with formula because my daughter wasn't gaining enough weight and I told her to go to hell. Have confidence in your milk supply. The more your child is at your breast, the healthier he or she will be. My daughter is still skinny (I was, too, as an infant), but she walked at 10 months, talked in complete sentences at 2, and she's never had an ear infection, asthma, diabetes, problems with spitting up or anything else that Formula can cause. I'm always shocked that women don't know that baby formulas contain Iron to counteract the intestinal bleeding it causes in your helpless infant. I became a stay-at-home mom to ensure that not a drop of formula would ever sicken my babies. We can't afford a 2nd car, vacations, getting take-out or many other things on our budget, but at least our kids are healthy.

I gave my son enfamil for the first time when he was 6 months old , and only because I bacame pregnant again, however, he took it well, loved it and did him great, unfortunately I can not say the same this time. I tried giving it to my 2 month old daughter as an alternate source of nutrition and it got her really sick and ended up in the emergency room, I was told by the physician that there was no way that it could have been the enfamil that I was okay to give it to her again, I was scared to do it being what had happened the first time she had it, but, I gave it to her again hoping that nothing would happen, but unfortunately she got sick on me again. The symptoms that she came across were, she got a really bad bright red rash all over her body, I mean from head to toes, vomitting, and really gassy. I have tried finding any type of artical on the internet with known issues of possible side affects or allergic reactions to this formula and have found nothing. I don't know if it's plain coinsidence that there is nothing, but please if you happen to read this review and unfortunately you can relate to it thus happening to your child, please submit some information so that it can help prevent another child from getting sick like my daughter. Oh, and by the way another draw back from this product is.....EnfamiL is TOO EXPENSIVE!

This has worked well so far as I can tell. After breast milk only for 4 months, we had to add more calories, and used small amounts of Enfamil, and now at 7 months about 4-6oz/day with the breast milk. We ran out of the 2 free cans finally, and when I tried others (for variety) I found the Good Start clumps and she didn't like it by itself, and the Simulac Organic has sugar added (not a good thing). So we're back to Enfamil, which tastes less sweet, and thus is safer to guard against the overweight outcome that formula fed babies are prone to later in life.

My son started with breastfeed but did not gain weight so we had to put him on formula. We had a lot of Enfamil and decided to try it. He loved it and in four days gained 10oz. Like everyone who agrees that Enfamil is good the only draw back is the price.

I gave this to my baby at 1 month old off and on for a few weeks and thought he was just "colicy". I gave it to him again a week ago and he started vomiting 3 hours later for the rest of the night. I thought he must have had the flu. I gave it to him yesterday and 3 hours later he was vomiting all night again. I have been reading up on this stuff and there are a lot more people who have found it makes their babies gassy and/or vomiting. I won't use it again!

I recieved 2 cans free from Enfamil so I tried it. My first impression was that it was lighter in color and thinner, more like breast milk. It also created less bubbles when mixing. I thought this would create less gas. Wrong! My baby spit up after every feeding and got more gas. Her bowel movements were painful to her because they became more consistant and sticky. Similac Advance is better.

This formula worked wonders on my baby. She started on Similac with iron she would vomit from one feeding to the next, doctor tried her on that Isomil and once again she would vomit from one feeding to the next. Once she was put one Enfamil AR Lipil she Never done it again. I would recomend this to anyone who's baby has Acid Reflux or GERD.

It is a good formula but expensive unless you have WIC. It did not work for my daughter, who has reflux and she doesn't like the taste. However, it is very healthy according to the pediatrician.

I trully believe this product is great. My daughter started on this product and had no trouble. After talking to friends with a colicy baby and was told that they switched over to to Good Start because of the colic and also because the product was cheaper, I decided to give it a try. Bad idea!! It would not desolve in the water as well as Enfamil Lipil and gave my baby colic. I don't know what the other baby was on before he started with Good Start, but I can say that sometimes items are expensive for a reason. When it comes down to what's best for my baby money is not an issue. Efamil Lipil desolved very easily in water and was much easier to digest for her as well.

Expensive, but easy to mix and better tasting than some other formulas. The powder is lighter color and finer which means it's not as gritty and doesn't clump as much. Doesn't stain clothing as much either. Enfamil's big drawback- it's expensive!
