Quite good especially in that Twilight Zone episode where he sent people to the 'cornfield'.

Excellent in those Twilight Zone episodes, docked a point for working with Dr Smith on Lost In Space.

one of the better kid actors of the 1960s to 70s {mostly 60s} He appeared in Lost in Space and many guest appearances on tv. I really liked him in the Twilight episode of It's A Good Life. where he was this evil little boy who could wish people into the corn field if they did anything to displease him. He was an adorable boy with a lot of acting talent.

I loved him and Lost in Space, but his acting was average.

Though I'm not sure, I think Bill Mumy and I are around the same age. When I first saw him in a Twilight Zone episode, I was just a child myself and he gave me the creeps, turning people into a Jack-in-the Box, that kind of thing. But he certainly made a lasting impression.

Sure we all remember him as Will Robinson, that affable kid Lost In Space. I caught a bit of him doing a standup on some SciFi channel show in-around '93 and thought I'm glad to see he's doing well for himself. Liked his POV as well. A month after John Denver's death I became aware of his Barnes & Barnes work as a musician. It wasn't until I heard The Ballad of William Robinson that I had any inkling that the man was such a great musician, singer and songwriter. The song rolled around with me till summer of 2002 when I bought his Dying to Be Heard CD. Wow. Now I have 6 of his CDs, and not a stinky song in the lot. He's also a nice guy who responds to people via his guestbook on www.BillMumy.com

Bill Mumy was one of the best and most natural child actors of the 1960's. I wasn't alive back then so I've seen him in episodes shown in syndication. The first thing I saw him in was a very creepy episode of The Twilight Zone in which the town's people had to make Bill Mumy happy. He was so creepy in that episode. The scene where he turned a man into a jack in the box was memorable. I also loved him in a couple episodes of Bewitched especially the one where he mimics Dick York. It is hysterical. He was a true talent of a child actor.

One of my first 16 Magazine/Tiger Beat-type crushes; I developed a big thing for Billy Mumy at about the age of 11 or 12 devoting several pages of a scrap book and the interior of a silver locket to him. As time went by, I couldn't help noticing how he was always popping up in old films and television shows and I soon realized he had had a pretty impressive career as a child actor before he landed what would be his best-known role as Will Robinson on Lost in Space. Unlike a lot of kids in the biz, acting seems to have been a positive experience for Bill Mumy. He has gone on to enjoy an eclectic career that has included acting, music, writing, voice-over work and the creation of action comic books.
