She was the cutest little thing and talented. However, she came across as a little ham. As an adult I think she put on a lot of weight.

I know Margaret O'Brien is considered a great child actress, but personally she has always annoyed the bejeebers out of me. She is one of the few actresses that I can't stand to watch.

one of the better child actors of the 1940s. She could do more in depth acting. and well. It seems they always had a scene where they had her crying though.but I liked her work in the movies I have seen her in such as Meet Me In St. Louis.

She was an exceptional child actor and very off-beat for her era. Her performances are as fascinating to watch as those of Montgomery Clift.
