Ah, How Barnabas suffered! This was a ground-breaking series in the 1960's and provided some spooky thrills as well.

I was intrigued as a child by this show. I still enjoy it today.

This is a show I think I could get into if I could watch it from the beginning and see it in order. I've seen a couple of episodes on the Sci-fi channel and it looked fairly interesting. It would have to be something like the complete season DVD format because I'm not really one to wait by the television waiting for it to come on every day.

What still amazes me is that Dark Shadows has fans that weren't even close to being born when it first ran. Easier for me to understand are those of us who have loved it since the beginning and still enjoy the SciFi reruns. For me, it's just one of those crazy things that date back to childhood that I never lost interest in. This one of a kind show grabbed my attention and appealed to my imagination. Sure the production values were surpassed years ago - but the feeling of mystery, romance and wonder remain. (Not that I don't get the occasional yuck from one of the many beloved bloopers!)

When I was a small child, this show came on every week. It was one of my favorite shows, now however, its a so-so show. Im going to give it a four in my book because there was something about the low budget sets that I enjoyed.
