Great show from the late 1950s and early 1960s.Rod Serling hosted the show. He also wrote for some of the episodes along with some other talented writers. Every show had different actors. A lot of the shows had ironic twists. and surprises. Some of the shows were better than others I have my personnal favorites. Still holds up today. I still like to see it on our sci-fi channel.

As commented elsewhere on a few other weblists, like many others the Twilight Zone is definitely one of my all time favorites. Personally, what sets it apart from the others on this list is that while I enjoyed a handful of these shows as a kid, upon entering adulthood they no longer held my curiousity or fascination. The Twilight Zone, as it were, is the only one that has stood that test of time for me, so much so that I often don't even mind re-watching numerous episodes, as they are frequently that well written, acted and directed. Long live the Twilight Zone (original series)!

This is the coolest show ever! The best part is that while it gives you the creeps, it makes you think. Look forward for the next sci-fi channel TZ marathon

Rod Serling was a master storyteller. Each story had either a moral, a message or just scared the daylights out of you. Featured actors who would go on to make it big. It is still as good today as it was over 40 years ago.

The Twilight Zone is simply timeless. I never get tired of the original series.
