09/15/2007 | Theres a ton of stuff to do in the game, that doens't necessarily means it will take a long time, I logged in 30 hours or so into the game and finished it 100%, it's a very enjoyable experince though and some of the level designs are mind boggling.

04/23/2006 | Hmmm...not very impressed. I loved Mario 64 (who didn't?!?), but they've gone wrong with this one. Personally I think they've over done the colours..it's overly vibrant and gawdy. Some of the levels are very frustrating and, as someone else said in a review, this is the first Mario game that I have found myself swearing at. They drop you in at the deepend with no levels designed specifically to teach you Mario's skills.

05/01/2005 | i loved mario games all my life they are what made nintendo and fun gaming to years to come great games! and i think mario sunsine is one of those great games i love this game very much(mostly because it give me a break of killing zombes)! a lot of levels to play all mostly long too great game a must get for gamecube! the gameplay is great easy to play nothing hard about it! has some pretty cool music and is on one of my games that every one sould mave list! very cool bosses i fell in love with these game over time and always will still!! the bad things about this game are probally because mario so stuiped because he has to say things MAMA MEEA get anoing over time but thats no big deal great game TRUELY AWSOME!!!!

09/07/2004 | The gameplay is really good, and the controls are fairly easy to learn. The levels are large and attractively drawn, and the enemies can be absolutely hilarious at times. The only drawback to the game that I've found is that the boss monsters are difficult all out of proportion to the levels you play to get to them.

07/07/2004 | Among the worst Mario games I have played. It just doesn't have the fun and addiction that I experienced with Mario games on the older systems. The only Mario game I found myself swearing and cursing while playing. Some parts are just unbelievably hard. And it seems like you play the same scenes over and over again. This game is really for kids. I mean the graphics are very kiddish looking.

03/04/2003 | Although not quite as replayable and innovative as the immortal Nintendo 64 classic, Super Mario 64, SUper Mario Sunshine is the first Mario platformer for the Nintendo GameCube. As can be expected on Nintendo's 128-bit console, the graphics rock, aside from a few isolated drops in the framerate. Sadly, there is not much voice acting, but what is present is well done. Also, the music is tolerable, better on some levels than others. The controls work flawlessly, even with Mario's latest weapon. And, while the levels can get annoying at time, some are just great, especially when the true villian is revealed! Highly recommended!
