A good sitcom show. The show was ruined when Jon Lovitz came aboard, but that wasn't his fault.

NewsRadio was a brilliant TV sitcom. Unfortunately, NBC didn't realize what a great thing it had and instead focused its attention on shows like Friends, Suddenly Susan, and Third Rock from the sun. (Pretty mindless shows, in my opinion.) NewsRadio got a lot of respect from the critics and the viewers who did manage to follow the show despite NBC's poor treatment of it were treated to one of the finest sitcoms of the 1990's.
