It's been 10 years. At first people thought terrorists were to blame. Instead it was a right-wing anti-government American radical who committed this heinous crime. Very tragic and I feel bad for every surviving family member and victim.

Much like the WTC bombing in '93, this was more tragic for the people closer to Oklahoma City. I give an extra star for two reasons. 1. The number of children that were killed. 2. It was domestic terrorism, which is worse in many ways, in my opinion.

I was born in Oklahoma City. Although I grew up in Phoenix, this eevent hit me pretty hard. As selfish as this might sound, I am glad that this did not happen the day before. My uncle was there that day. Still, this is something that I will never forget.

This was especially sad to me since I had lived in Oklahoma City for 15 years and both my children were born there. However, one of the worst things about this tragedy is that Slick Willie used it to make political hay. He even tried to imply that conservative talk radio had served as some kind of inspiration for the bombing. After he won re-election in '96, he bragged during an interview that the bombing helped get him re-elected. I think Redoedo needs to put election of Bill Clinton on the list of historic tragedies.

Tragic and shocking, but not the same scale as the others on the list. The most horrifying aspect is that people like McVeigh and Nichols exist--anti-government wackos, full of unstoppable hate, and who have influenced countless others we haven't heard from yet.
