11/28/2008 | 2007 not assembled as well as previous Hondas (83 Accord,95 Civic Si, 96 Civic LX)and paint chips easily. Interior mouldings misaligned and because of material, will never align properly. Road noise as with most Hondas can be distracting BUT this car is so much fun to drive. No longer requires timing belt change, it is now a chain. Would I buy another? You bet!

11/20/2008 | I had a used one for about a year and generally liked it until it got destroyed while parked. Pissed me off, because I usually wreck cars on my own. The destruction coincided with the need to buy a mini-van, so I never got another one.

11/20/2008 | Historically one of the best cars in this class. Solid repair records, fuel efficiency, and engineering. It was, pound for pound, the best car I've ever owned until I wrecked it. Thus began my losing streak of American cars until I swore them off.

10/19/2005 | I am on my third honda Civic and have loved them all. We are about to buy our next one. I have never had a problem with any of the Civics we have owned

06/29/2004 | The Honda Civic is a solid choice. Reliable, fuel efficient, with decent dynamics (though inferior in this respect to the Focus). Its a bit pricey, though, which hurts it in my books. Yes, it holds its value, but if you keep a car for 12-14 years as I do, its not going to be worth anything when you get a new car, no matter who made it.

05/17/2004 | You gotta admit, the civic is very reliable and is good transportation for the money. Plus, there is a gigantic aftermarket following for all models of the civic, so its not completely hopeless.

02/11/2004 | This is the same quality as most Economy cars, but for the price of this car you could buy a full sized with something in it besides a lawn mower engine....perhaps something with a V6 and 24 valve and 240hp.
