For all-around durability, handling, style, and value, they're hard to beat.

I have a 15 year old Honda Accord and couldn't ask for a better car. It solid, has minimal costs and when something does go wrong it is easy and cheap to fix. After being around for 15 years and having seen more than 9 Vermont winters there is some rust but I fixed that and the engine is still a work horse. When I finally move on to another car it will most definitely be a Honda.

Good, but my newer 2003 Honda seems to be less quality than my old 1997 one. Time will tell.

No doubt in my mind that Hondas are excellent vehicles in their price range (and maybe better than some higher priced makes as well). I've had a lot of cars in my life - 5 Fords, a Pontiac (a real disaster), 3 Fiats, 2 Volkswagens, a Toyota (good car), and 3 Hondas. The Hondas have all been reliable, comfortable, and fun to drive. Quality overall has been great. I've never had any problems with any of them. I also had a Honda lawnmower for 11 years that, aside from oil changes, needed one spark plug change during the entire time. Started on the first pull every time. Honda makes a good product.

It's love. FYI to anyone patriotic, you can buy Hondas that are made in the USA (my father-in-law works at their Ohio plant). You can ask the dealer specifically for this, or if buying from an owner, check the VIN on the windshield. If it starts with a J it was made in Japan. It's that easy. I've owned 4 Hondas, and have loved them all. I sold them only to upgrade, but still miss them for the fun we had ! I had a Civic hatchback, loved it at 16, shove everything in and GO ! at 18 I upgraded to a Civic 2 door, which was terrific and fun and FAST ! Now we have an Accord coupe (ooh so devine) with leather and in dash GPS and XM radio, oh it's love ! Honda makes a great car for long road trips ? YES ! We also have an Element for our adventures. Hold the family, the bikes, skis, snowboards, etc. MP3 jack, rubber floor, dirt resistant seats. It puts the Utility in SUV. Very functional and fun. But above all, Hondas are well-made, with terrific warranties, but in all the years of Honda ownership, I've never NEEDED to use the warranties ! You can drive these cars with Honfidence as they say. Top notch service and dealers that leave you alone while you browse. Car heaven !

Although I would never buy one for personal and patriotic reasons, Honda is an excellent company. The best part of Honda is reliability. They make all kinds of vehicles, but most of them have bland styling. Some people like that, others do not.

Since I started driving in the mid-1970's, I've had 2 Oldsmobiles, 2 Toyotas, a Ford and 2 Hondas. The Hondas have been by far the most reliable of all. I drove my first one (Civic) for over 10 years and it was still going strong when I traded it in on an Accord last year. Unless I would suddenly find myself in the Rolls Royce or Bentley tax bracket, I will continue to rely on the more practically priced Hondas.
