I purchased 2 brand new Jeeps from Glendale Chrysler in St. Louis, MO in June 2004 (shame on me!). The Jeep Grand Cherokee has spent at least 2 days per month in the service shop since I bought it. Problems include rattling from every part in the car, broken heat shield etc... Now for the good stuff. On October 31st, I was driving in Arizona, when the car lost power and shut down. I called a tow company that towed me into the enarest Jeep dealership in Arizona - Martin Swanty Jeep. I was told that the car had a leaky valve and the ehad needed to be repaired, which would take several days. Since I live in CA, I asked about a rental assistance and was told that I never qualified for it (I own 2 Jeep's and I don't qualify. What does?) I got home a called Chrysler Customer Service and explained the situation. They told me he same story, I did not have a contract to get a rental car. Anyway, the ehad came back and I got a call from the dealership to say that the head is fine but the entire engine needs to be replaced which will take another week. Again I inquired about a rental and got the same response. My car was suppsoed to be ready today (11/15/05) and called to confirm so. I was told the new engine also malfunctioned and they have ordered a second new engine. I called CS back again, and was give the same response - no rental. I called Glendale Chrysler where I bought the car in St. Louis, MO and spoke Matt Newbold (Service Manager), he said there is nothing he can do. Their Sales Manager, Keith..., is MIA and is just as un-resposnive. Long story short - stay away from any Chrysler car esp. Jeep. They are overpriced, low quality cars and their lack of customer service will leave you frustrated. If you think I am exagerating, email me and I will show you all the serive records to prove everything. Oh, I forgot, I sold the other Jeep I owned just to be rid of this company.

Jeep is a historical company that is the SUV branch of Chrysler. New models are planned for the future, and the Liberty is the best Jeep yet. Unfortunately, the Wrangler and Grand Jerokee need to be drastically updated or replaced.
