Hardly a great actor, but better than a lot of the movies he's been in. Still, he was the star of one of my favorite movies of all time...John Carpenter's re-make of "The Thing". Also, you have to give credit to someone who has successfully made the transition from child-actor to adult-actor. Considering how rarely such a transition occurs, it's definitely a feat worthy of respect.

He was so young and cute in those disney movies....then he kind of had a dry spell. Now he is getting to prove himself in more adult roles.

I would like to let people know that he played a little boy on Gilligans Island. I think it was the B+W version. If you didnt know that.

Yes, JB, he was definately a child actor. Though I think his original dream was to be a professional baseball player, Kurt Russell ended up starring in several films - many for Disney - before the age of 21. One of the few who successfully moved from child to adult roles. I know him best as my younger sister's biggest heart-throb.
