Yep, Ole Bill can talk a fine line.  He has that political ability to look you straight in the eye and lie like a dog.  'I never had sex with that woman...'  Yeah, well, I wouldn't hold stock in anything this man said, now or ever!

Skilled, at times excellent orator, but a little uneven.

He always came over as a car salesman to me. With a smile and a twinkle in his eye he was easy to believe if you were the king/queen of naivety. Ill give it to him, he was the most convincing liar of all presidents in my lifetime, and without a doubt they all (presidents)have to know how to lie right to your face. The difference in politics I believe is whether you lie often for the peoples sake or for your own agenda.

I actually do like him and I think he's a bit overrated. His "aw shucks, I'm from the south" might play well in certain parts of the country, but for me it's annoying when you're trying to get at some substance.

He's overrated as a great orator but one has to say that this weasel used his tounge better than a 200 dollar whore.

Like him or hate him, he is a silver tongue devil. The only problem is that the memory of his speeches are short lived. For the life of me I can't remember one speech of his (with the exception of I did not have sex with that woman), unlike the speeches of Roosevelt, Kennedy and Reagan, which have be come ingrained in the American consciousness.

I don't know why so many people think that this guy was a good speaker- he certainly didn't move me at all. He just had the bland tone, and everytime he said America where he dragged it out so it sounded like Ameri-CUHHH, I felt like pulling me hair out. I guess the best speech he gave was I did not have sexual relations with that woman.
