The Chrysler Building never fails to get my attention. I think I got the best available view of it while having dinner, late at night, at the Copter Club (not sure if it still exists as the Copter Club), which is (was?) located at the top of the (old?) Pan Am building. From a window seat, we were up close and nearly eye-level to the Crown Jewel of New York...lighted-up and dazzling.

Easily the prettiest office tower in Manhattan, and one of the prettiest in the world.

I know I'll take flak for this, but I'm esthetically pleased (and only esthetically pleased) that the 9/11 terrorists chose to take out those godawful eyesores at the World Trade Center instead of a work of art like this.

Surely one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. It definately reminds one of the 1920's, with its art deco design screaming of the period. The never rusting stainless steel top is as lovely lit up at night as it is in the morning sun. One of the best!!

The Chrysler Building in New York is the most beautiful building in the city. From the air it looks incredible, like a bright needle pointing in the air. The sharp Art Deco design with well sculptured lines makes it a classic and evokes a time when buildings were designed with style in mind.

My absolute favorite big building! It shines like a diamond. Probably the best example of Art Deco architecture in the entire world.
