 | souljunkie (20) 01/10/2006 | This fool is not even a smart black man. He is a racist opportunist, nothing more. People do not really change a lot...he has not really traveled far in his mind from his days connected to the "black Panthers". I consider anyone who supports this guys agenda a racist.

 | Drummond (53) 01/09/2006 | His 1984 convention speech was probably the best convention speech in recent decades.

 | Randyman (101) 02/27/2005 | A lousy speaker. Wants so badly to be the Martin Luthor King of his day. Lacks any real passion in his speaking and always has a divisive message.

 | skypod (0) 10/03/2004 | Rev. Jackson is a racist and an extortionist. Here is just one example: http://skeptictank.org/gen4/gen02379.htm

 | Heloise (0) 09/03/2004 | I used to listen to his PUSH speeches every Saturday in Chicago. He spoke in a loud voice and his words were simple. He held the audiences attention, by his insistence on them getting a share of the American pie. His delivery was good. But his message was often too one-sided to make him a great orator.

 | bperk420 (0) 11/01/2003 | I don't understand the hostility toward the Rev. Jesse Jackson. He hasa always been a solid, consistent leader for the black community. He has gotten hostages released. He has had problems in his personal life, but I think that is irrelevant to all the good he has done.

 | CastleBee (80) 08/27/2003 | A dork with a speech impediment. It's actually painful to listen to him - in more ways than one.

 | magellan (151) 07/23/2003 | Say what you will about the man's shortcomings, but Jesse Jackson is a powerful speaker. I'm not sure how many people remember this, but when Dr. Seuss died, Jesse Jackson happened to be a guest on SNL. For the news segment, Jackson was brought on to read Green Eggs & Ham - it sounds ridiculous, but it ended up being one of the more moving tributes to someone recently passed away that I can remember. Jackson read so eloquently and powerfully that many of the audience were moved to tears.
