I love this show!!!! It has such a Fantastic Star: Donna Reed!!! She is absolutely Gorgeous and Charming!!!! And the Storylines are so much better than in todays lousy TV Shows. The Donna Reed Show has something in it for all age groups. I love the character Jeff with his very Funny Remarks which adds so much life to this Wonderful TV Sitcom. Furthermore, The parents in this TV program have a real relationship with each other and they don't hide how attracted they are to one another like other 50's shows from this era do!The Donna Reed Show is such a refreshing well written show and the characters in the show seem so very comfortable with each other that one would swear they are truly related!!!! I can see why this show lasted so many years! A Very Great Classic Comedy!!!!!

Great show in its' day. Donna Reed was hot and had some acting skills. The show was the same old formula as most family shows of the era. It would be hard to watch nowadays. Good kids show. Shelley Fabres was quite real for the era. She played Christine on "Caoch" a few years back. Good job Shelley!

The Donna Reed Show was the American family the Hollywood thought the American family should be, but did any of us really grow up in a family like that? Hell, did any of us even KNOW anyone who did?! Strictly Capraesque fantasy, but I still fell in love with Shelley Fabares when I watched her sing "Johnny Angel". I grew up looking for a girl just like her. All 3 of my wives just didn't measure up.

I had a crush on Donna Reed as a child. I don't remember to much detail about any of the episodes, but I can still picture Donna Reeds beautiful face. That's worth 4 stars.

I wish they would keep this program on the air just to remind us what it used to be like in a regular type family.

I remember the Donna Reed Show from my childhood. But, honestly, I don't need reminders of Bob Crane. However, does anyone know the episode Karyn Kupcinet played in? Her Hollywood career spanned 1960-1963. BuddyLove kc440@hotmail.com

Ok, so she was the anthiesis of Roseanne, but most of us who were growing up when this show was on and on reruns, would have given our eye teeth to have a mother like Donna Reed's character!

A boring typical situation comedy about an idyllic family. Mother was sweet, charming and always available. Father was a doctor, so they made a comfortable living. Kids were for the most part perfect Nothing really memorable about the show except I liked Donna Reed.

Loved this show. Shelley was great and Donna Reed was a fine actress. Good old family values.

Donna Reed was hot (and so was Shelly Fabares), but this show sucked.

clean wholesome entertainment.donna could act quite well. Shelley was great also. The show at times may have suffered from weak scripts; I believe that may have been the problem. there were some very good episodes, however. Very 50ish although it lasted until late 66. I hope it comes back on another cable network again soon. I wish 2 things. One, that it willbe offered on vhs or dvd, in its original form, free from syndication company logos replacing the original screen gems at the end. Next, that whatever channel shows it, they will show all the episodes. Nick skipped the 63 to 65 years. thanks

Great show and great actors. Shelley Fabares was excellent and by the way is not related in real life to Paul, who played Jeff. Her real-life aunt is Nanette Fabray. Anyway, they had great family storylines.

Cute little show may not appeal to the guys, but is a true gem for girls who lived through that period of time.

I would rate this 5 if it had stayed the same all the time it was on the air because I have very good memories of watching it in my childhood and then watching it later in repeats on Nick at Nite. However, I will only rate it 4 because I didn't really like it that much after Mary wasn't on it. I never did care for the episodes with new the girl they added to the family in later times. I believe she was "Jeff's" real life sister if I remember correctly.

I remember watching this in repeats.{I was too young to watch this when it was on originally}. This was a nice show. Donna Reed was the mom of two kids, Jeff and Mary. Married to a pediatrician. This was a harmless show kind of up there with Father Knows Best, and Leave It TO Beaver, Pretty typical of the family shows from the 50s and early 60s. I always liked Donna Reed and she was perfect as the loving mom and wife. Shelley Fabares was the teenage Mary, and Paul Peterson as Jeff. It was a nice show about a nice family. A pretty good one to see if you feel like being nostalgic.
