05/31/2008 | First, spoilers aren't supposed to make your car faster...that's just ridiculous. When used on race cars, they're supposed to provide enough resistance to keep the car on the track and prevent it from flying into the air. Second, whether or not a spoiler looks good depends upon the car and the ratio between the size of the spoiler and the size of the car. A spoiler on the wrong type of car looks stupid, as does a large spoiler on a small car.

03/29/2008 | They don't really serve any purpose for any car that you're going to be using for regular transportation. Smaller spoilers look ok on certain cars, but I think everyone has seen the ridiculous monstrosities that some 16 year old kid thought would look great bolted to the back of his rusted out 1991 Chevy Lumina.
