I couldn't agree more with the positive comments below. He has written to me and he is a very nice, refreshing person. He always gives me a good word. It is good to see such a good person in such a respectable position on rateitall.

He has only messaged me once, but I am overwhelmed by the ammount of good things I constantly read about him across the board. Even if I had never read a single one of his comments, I would still rate him a five based on what others thought of him. That is something to be proud of.

I usually enjoy his posts, particularly when I don't agree with them. A good logical mind, that still has a sense of fun.

His posts are very well written and informative. Kudos!

Solenoid has been on this site almost as long as I have, and is one of the more respected posters here. He's earned that respect through thoughtful posts and an extremely honest approach towards his writing. There's a couple of areas that we are on opposite sides of the planet in terms of philosophy, but overall I see Solenoid as one of the more credible voices on the site. His post on Reagan is particularly outstanding.

Well thought out comments, a gentleman in private conversations, and one of the RIA good guys. We don't have to see eye to eye on all issues for me to know that he is a man of clear thought, good character, and intellectual depth.

Very thoughtful, pleasant and friendly. His opinions are above board and I enjoy his entries.

Solenoid seems like a very genuine and nice man. I hope he's been blessed with many friends.

He is a polite well-spoken reviewer. I appreciate how he does not insult people to get his point across.

Solenoid was the first person to message me when I came to the site. Like X-D, the only thing I really disagree with DH is his religious views. But I do respect him for that. He is a strong believer in high morals. Solenoid is very conservative, but still open to all ideas, and respects them all.

Since I first came to RIA last February, I have had the pleasure of communicating with so many different people with different beliefs and backgrounds. I must say that although we have never met in person, I consider Solenoid DH (and I don't even know his real name!) to be a friend, and I hope he would grant me the same. He is a wonderful person whose faith in Christ sustains him, and he need not be criticized for that, he must be praised. He is a man of high integrity and moral standards, and I have gotten the impression that he loves his family deeply. We don't see eye to eye on many political issues, but as DH himself says, we can disagree without being disagreeable. We can have friends who disagree with us, and I certainly feel like I have a friend in Solenoid. We have engaged in a gracious debate via e-mail on several occasions, and on some days, we have sent over ten e-mails back and forth. Solenoid's faith in the Lord and his genuine nature makes this planet a better place, and in making the world a better place, he is carrying out God's work.

I have never spoke to Solenoid thru messages or otherwise, so I can't rate him as a person. However, like a few other people, I find it awesome that he can make reviews that I don't necessarily agree with without being cruel or mean about it. He obviously has high values and morals, and there is nothing wrong with that at all ! UPDATE ! I have in the last couple of months spoke to him thru messages and what not, and as I always suspected, he is a very nice guy with very high morals. It is great to have him on RIA. Wonderful guy.

I disagree with some of his opinions, but he's always polite. I have to agree with the majority of posts that he's certainly a nice guy and very pleasant to talk to through personal messages. He's very open and kind.

The only thing I disagree with Solenoid DH on is his religious viewpoints. BUT, since his religious nature tends to lead him to the right conclusions on issues, he's great. I don't think of Solenoid as a Bible banger like some people think he is. His thoughts and ideas are clear, and it's quite rare that he plays the God-card in making his points. The opinions by Solenoid are clear and concise, grounded in reason and common sense. He also happens to have a strong Christian background and beliefs. He doesn't fall BACK on God, he uses the MIND God blessed him with.

Absolute bonehead. Never says a mean word? His words on Clinton are hardly kind, purely because the guy was a democrat and shagged a young girl. The rest of his views are so America-centric its depressing

One of the most sincerely nice people on RIA. I enjoy Solinoid DHs ratings because they are thoughtful, well written, interesting, and fair. I also appreciate that he manages to always say exactly what he thinks without a trace of hatred or cruelty in his remarks.

Even though I've never met him and probably never will, I really enjoy mailing Solenoid. We never agree on anything, but when it comes down to it he is such a nice, genuine person. Believe it or not, some of Solenoid's posts have actually made me rethink my liberal views. I haven't talked to him in a long time and miss him. He's just an all-around good, decent human being.
