03/13/2007 | David seeds are pretty gross now-a-days. They did used to be high quality large seeds, now they are small, skinny, and often burnt. I get more rotten tasting seeds from david than any other brand. I have switched to Spitz and they are MUCH better, I also highly prefer Kroger brand seeds over David. Yes, thats right, generic seeds are better than David seeds.

03/03/2007 | I find that all of the davids seeds are gross--they contain more bark and burnt seeds than any other that i have tried--their flavored versions have good flavoring but still the same problem--i have tried them several times thinking that i must have just got a bad bag but i have finally given up on these seeds.

08/04/2005 | Im 51 and have been eating davids seeds since I was a kid but now THEY SUCK! what the heck happened to the quality???? they used to be big round seeds now their skinny,stale and tiny!! what happened to the jumbo seeds that were original?? I heard they sell jumbos but I havent seen them...Im so dissapointed at the quality anymore..they look like they suffered a drought or something!!! theyre not even worth shelling, I might as well buy frito lay their just as crappy!

12/06/2004 | davids are not as good as frito lay but the new jumbo seeds davids offers when you can find them are the best I've ever tasted. There are no bad ones and the nut is like a meal. A excellent choice compared to the regular ones

08/24/2004 | I thinks david's seeds are awful compared to Frito Lays. They are too salty and the kernels are so tiny! All that cracking and spitting and all you are rewarded with is a teency little bland nut! Fritolay's kernals are nuttier tasting and huge by comparison, and not too salty!

03/27/2004 | Just about as bad as seeds can get. I think there is some real ignorant seed eaters in this place. David, Frito Lay, and Fisher seeds, all in the top 5? What the F*#$! If you've never tried Klein Brothers Jumbo seeds, you don't know what a good seed tastes like. I import 'em by the case: www.jumbosnacks.net.

08/21/2003 | I like the flavors however this the best of the product line. The salt/freshness of this seed makes it distinctly better than Fisher and noticeably better than Frito Lay (a strong up and comer as you would expect from them). These people do a good job, try their Ranch flavored kernel for something tasty.
