I was a fan. The best episode was the one where they went on the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I had always been a bit of a bookworm, and this was a program I really enjoyed when I was a kid. They would focus on reading one story, and at the end of the show, they had little kids (usually between 7 and 10 years of age) introduce other children's books to the young audience. This is also the show where I was introduced to LeVar Burton.

I can go anywhere, just take a look in a book - the theme song was the best part.

This show is too much about reading and not about writing, our abcs, and about what matters the most- letting kids have fun. Sesame Street does all that with fun charcters

Now that Mister Rogers is gone and Sesame Street has become garbage, this is the only good educational TV show remaining on PBS. It continues to be a great children's show that encourages reading and teaches viewers lots of neat things, and is also quite entertaining. The show has not been watered down or overly changed to keep up with the times.

I LOVE the episodes from the 80s because they are SUCH a flashback!!! But also, this show was entertaining and interesting and introduces you to lots of books you might not have otherwise gotten into.
