Well, the only one of the little buggers to become a true pop culture icon. I had a great t-shirt years ago purchased from one of the seedy head shops that used to line Yonge St. in Toronto. It was the classic picture of the Beatles - the four of them standing on a simple stage wearing matching grey, collarless suits - but with all of their heads replaced by that classic "astonished Buckwheat" head and the name on the drum was "The Buckbeats"

Not much of an actor but certainly a memorable character and a good comedy act. No one will evever forget Buckwheat.

this was a cute kid and I really like that show, but he didn't do that much acting to rate with child actors all time. Come on voters look at the top ten and you can see that there are actors listed there that truly don't belong. This is not to say that they are not good actors, but have they accomplished in their childhood acting career the status to be named best child star all time. I think there should have been a list of names that voters could select from. It's not fair when a voter can add a name of an actor that they like which no one else might be familiar with and that actors name goes right to the top of the list. How bogus is that? REMEMBER VOTERS YOU ARE RATING BEST CHILD ACTORS ALL TIME.

Who didn't love Buckwheat? I think of him everytime I make Buckwheat pancakes.
