 | gmanod (3) 01/21/2004 | Whether he lives or dies won't bring back those lost in New York or in the countless other places that he has overseen terrorist acts committed upon. There is no justice in killing him, he needs to be put on trial and thrown into the Hague for the rest of his life. If Osama dies he is immediately a martyr, just as Sadamm will be if he is executed. This is the best possible hope for these men because the fight that they live for will go on long beyond them and their deaths will only strengthen the dedication and numbers of those who sympathize. Martyrs, thought, are not found spending life sentences; there is no sense of injustice felt in this punishment.
