Martin Landau in "Ed Wood" (1994)

He pulled it off rather well.

A gem of a performance if you haven't seen it.

Landau as Bela Legosi (sp?) over-the-hill and doing drugs whilst being fawned over by Ed Wood (Depp) was one of the funniest and most memorable performances. An actor playing an actor can be a little tricky. Landau stole several scenes. Give it a shot. A well-deserved Oscar.

He BECAME Bela Lugosi and was highly deserving of his Oscar. He was also fantastic in his previous nominations for Crimes & Misdemeanors, and Tucker: A Man And His Dreams.

One of the all-time great performances(as Bela Lugosi) in one of the al-time great movies.
