04/18/2007 | Before he became "famous", I used to see him on the delightful TV-series "Ballykissangel", which was about an small Irish village and a show which few people I mention it to now have ever heard of (which is unfortunate; it was a charming show). He wasn't a particularly major character, and I didn't pay him much mind, until the U.S. media began paying a lot of attention to him. My initial reaction was, "Hey, that's Danny from Ballykissangel!" Now, if his name comes up, my reaction is, "Yeah, uh...guy from Ballykissangel. Party-guy. Pretty boy." In fairness to him, I've only seen him in one movie- "Phone Booth", which was reasonably entertaining. From what I've read, Marlon Brando enjoyed partying when he first came to Holllywood. When those youthful "party-boy" days passed, however (as they invariably must), he had the acting chops to fall back on. Like some of the reviewers below mention, I'm not sure Farrell has those chops. Time will tell, I guess.

What is interesting or amusing about
his promiscuity and drunkeness and why does the American media keep reporting
it? He must have some fabulous connections in Hollywood.

02/13/2004 | Colin is a good-looking guy and that's about all the praise I can give him-just yet. He has appeared in a few films now such as Phone Booth, Daredevil, SWAT and none of his work has been spectacular. He currently finished work on a blockbuster in which he plays Alexander the Great where hopefully he'll prove himself and I can finally see what all the fuss is about over this guy.

02/09/2004 | Pretty handsome fellow, but would not be considered anything special at all if he were American. It's his Irishness that makes him handsome. His movies don't make any money, but that's probably not his fault.
