In my humble opinion, Cover Girl is yet another overrated drugstore cosmetics brand. I have never been wow-ed by any of their products and have tried a variety of compact foundations, liquid foundations, mascara, and color products. I think of them as a "teen" brand because I think they sucker in a lot of first-time cosmetics users with their name and ad campaigns (like America's Next Top Model).

Their advanced radience foundation is good medium coverage and seems to work well with less then perfect skin (wrinkles and rough spots that come with aging).....

Oh dear, they test on animals? Why don't they test it on convicts, I've always said that...

But I really like their lip glosses - prettiest shades and great selection of the types you want and the Lash Exact/Volume Exact mascaras. Even a kid could use it, it doesn't clump and  gives the right amount of color. And, of course, they have a very helpful website that automatically matches you to the best shades. For eyeshadows, lipcolors, etc. don't let this restrict you from trying something new, though! Prices are superb.

I like Cover Girl...They have affordable prices for good makeup.  I use their compact powder, blushes, and eyeliner (and occasionally foundation) and consider it worth the money.  The best thing about them is that the makeup is reasonably priced for the basics you need...but they don't always have as many shades as say, Revlon or Loreal.

I agree. the web site is awsome but the products leave much to be desired. i think cheap junk is the best way to describe this line.

Far better website than some of the most expensive lines! The tips they give you are easily translated to another line, but why bother when the product gives value for your dollar?

Even as far as drug store cosmetics go and its cheap prices this is a bad cosmetic line and a waste of money unless you are going for a cheap look.

I like CoverGirl because they make great, pretty inexpensive products, and their website is very helpful.
