There may be plenty of better movies on this list, butDie Hard is a very entertaining flick. It's fast-paced and, generally speaking, well acted, with more than a few comedic touches in the appropriate places. The limo driver was a sketch and a half. I think it's the first movie I ever saw Alan Rickman in, and I've been somewhat of a fan since.

As an action film, it serves its purpose. Die Hard is exciting and humorous at times, keeping a steady pace from beginning to end, never becoming boring or slow. Decent action scenes and acting as well, especially by Alan Rickman, who plays the villian quite well.
